zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Talker - The culture of talkers

Talker - Divisions between talkers. Talkers can be divided quite succinctly between two groups - ew-too-style talkers and NUTS-style talkers. Spods, as ew-too-style users were called, would almost never go to a NUTS talker, and vice versa. Beyond this simple division, there was a second division. All-ages users would never go to an adults only talker, and vice versa. However, adults-only talkers were almost exclusively NUTS-style, which meant that there were only 3 major divisions. Multiple worlds talkers however ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Herbert Garrison - Personality and sexual identity

Although acknowledged only sparingly in the series, Mr. Garrison suffers from a wide variety of social problems, the most noticeable of which appears to be multiple personality disorder. Mr. Garrison constantly held a puppet known as Mr. Hat which he used as a sort of second, more aggressive personality, as well as for emoting his internal conflicts. Though Garrison staunchly denied he was gay, he acknowledged that Mr. Hat was. For a period in the second season, in a fictional crossover psychotherapy session with Dr. Katz, Professiona ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - List of characters from Family Guy - Griffin Family

List of characters from Family Guy - Relatives. Francis Griffin – Peter's hardline Irish Catholic father. He began working for the Pope after becoming bored of retirement. He hates Lois because she isn't Catholic, even going so far as pinning a big sign on to her wedding car reading "Just Married: To A Protestant Whore." Although he seems gruff and strict on the exterior, Francis cares for Peter deep down. He attended his son's funeral, after Peter was believed to have died. Voiced by Colm Meaney a ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Talker - Adult 18+ talkers

With the introduction of lintilla in 1994, and its split off of Sleepy's multiple worlds in 1995, adult talkers became increasingly common. Because these 2 pioneering adult talkers used NUTS, hence the vast majority of subsequent adult talkers also used NUTS-style codes. Much as how ew-too users rarely visited NUTS talkers, similarly NUTS users who used adult (18+) talkers rarely visited all ages talkers. They were communities within their own community. Indeed, there were further splits within different interest groups, including the follow ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Talker - Ew-too style all ages talkers

Ew-too style talkers, which are originally based on LPMud have code that is very easy to use for people who are used to MUDs, and hence attracts many MUD users who are used to the interface. Regular ew-too users are sometimes referred to as spods, a term that is unfamiliar with NUTS users. Ew-too users were very unlikely to ever go to a NUTS talker, because the interface is so very different. Ew-too talkers were almost exclusively all ages. Ew-too users were more likely to go to a MUD or a MUSH than to go to a NUTS ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Talker - NUTS-style all ages talkers

NUTS-style talkers generally had completely different users to ew-too style talkers. People who used ew-too loved them and refused to use anything else, and similarly those who were used to the simpler commands of NUTS, and the "dotty" elements, loved NUTS. Whilst ew-too users were known as spods, NUTS users were not. In spite of the vast majority of adult (18+) talkers being NUTS-style or "dotty" talkers, the vast majority of NUTS talkers were all ages. Neil Robertson, the creator of NUTS, does not list a single adult (18+) talker in his family tree of talk ...

zoophile: Encyclopedia II - Talker - Multiple worlds talkers

Some talkers linked together with each other, to form a "multiple worlds" talker. The first of these, lintilla (1994), used the same code in every world, while later versions including planes of existence (1996) and Worlds of Syrius (1996) had almost entirely unique code in each world. Multiple Worlds talkers allowed a user to go to a talker with their desired theme, type of interest, and users, whilst still maintaining the same account. Multiple Worlds talkers allowed users to still log in to all of their worlds at the same time, through different windows. A user could feasibly send an e-mail f ...

In one episode, Mr. Garrison attempts to shoot Kathie Lee Gifford from the South Park book depository but misses and kills Kenny instead. In another episode, an inaccurate flashback to this scene shows Garrison killing Kathie Lee and revealing that she is a space alien. Although, in the end it turns out that this was an inaccurate description by one of the boys, and was intended to be wrong in the series. One of his memorable quotes is "Wow! Just look at all these tampons!" In the David Zucker comedy spoof BASEketball, Trey Parker speaks the line "I forgot how much Doug ...

In the 9th season premiere episode, Mr. Garrison's Fancy New Vagina (original airdate: March 9, 2005), Mr. Garrison revealed that he had not, in fact, been gay, but was actually a "woman trapped in a man's body". Following a vaginoplasty Herbert became Mrs. Garrison. The operation turns out to have consequences that Garrison had not adequately considered. His gay male lover, Mr. Slave, who had not been consulted before the operation, declines Garrison's sexual overtures afterwards, saying "But I'm gay! I don't like vagin ...

Talker - UNaXcess. UNaXcess is a bulletin board system originally started at Bradford University by Brandon S Allbery in 1984. During the early 90's it moved to the University of Manchester and was used for several years, mostly by members of the Computer Science department. Around about 1998, work started on a re-write of the code base overhaul the current system whilst keeping the quirky aspects that many users had grown to know and love (such as pressing 'G' to quit). By September 1999, the ...
