The Motif is a workstation Synthesiser released by Yamaha Corporation in August 2001. Four variants are available:
Motif 6 which has 61 keys (synth action).
Motif 7 which has 76 keys (synth action).
Motif 8 which has 88 keys (balanced hammer effect action).
Motif Rack which is controlled by other instruments and has no keyboard.
