| | | | | Vipassana meditation Vipassana meditation is an awareness meditation. It teaches you to be with the present moment, to live in the present moment. It teaches to be aware of everything that comes to you and is happening to you. Only the present moment is important. And everything that comes to you at the present moment through the six sense doors: "eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind" is to be noted, to be watched, to be observed as the object of awareness.
When you practice Vipassana meditation, by making mental notes or just watching the various things that come to you, you will bring awareness to a high level so that you will be able to see things as they truly are. You will come to see the true nature of mind and body, of the mental and physical phenomena of which you are composed. "True nature" means the nature of impermanence, the nature of unsatisfaction, and the nature of insubstantiality or the absence of an unchanging self or soul.
It is important to see these three characteristics of nature so that you can have a correct view of things, so that you may have less attachment to mind and body, and gradually be able to weaken the hold of mental defilements that prevent enlightenment.
When you practice Vipassana meditation, you choose an object on which to focus your mind. That object will be the "home" object of meditation. Traditionally, the breath is taken as the object. You keep your mind focused on the breath and make mental notes "in-out-in-out" along with the breaths. During the notings of the breath when your mind gets lost or distracted, you make notes of them too, such as "thinking" or "hearing" or "distractions" or "emotions", etc. And also you make notes of the feelings in your body. In this way, you keep yourself aware of everything that is happening in you or that comes to you through the six sense doors.
This experiential course will introduce you to Vipassana as a method to bring ones attention to a peaceful place within. |

| | | | Dr Turi: Astropsychology Course - A revival of Nostradamus' Divine Astrology In Nostradamus' day, there were neither watches nor clocks, nor computers. Yet Nostradamus was the greatest astrologer ever and was able to make incredible predictions. How did he do it? Yes, he did have a natural talent for premonitions, but there was so much more. He was schooled by his grandfathers from an early age in many occult and mystical subjects.
Dr. Turi grew up in he South of France, which was Nostradamus' home. He was influenced in his own astrological research by Nostradamus' success in predictive astrology and has revived this straight forward and easy to understand method. In three days you will be taught the basics of this method. With this foundation, you will be able to see the world in a new light. You will watch the moon in it's many fluctuations and be able to understand world events and why they take place when they do. It is the groundwork for all additional astrological methods.
Dr. Turi will explain all the planets and their signs and symbols. He will show the results when certain planets fall in the different signs. One of the major techniques of Astropsychology is the understanding of the Dragon, which emphasizes the past life of the person and the opportunities offered in this lifetime. Also unique to this method is the housing system that is used.
Dr. Turi offers a practical and "street-wise" approach to astrology. He uses colorful stories and humor to illustrate the different energies, which makes them easy to remember. With the knowledge you will obtain in his class, you will be able to, within a few minutes of meeting a person and finding their month of birth, understand a great deal about that person's outlook to life. This can be very handy is many situations and can give you an upper edge in dealing with others, as you will have an instant understanding of their psychology. The class comes with a complete set of printed course materials for future reference.

| | | | Astroendocrinology: the Chakras and Endocrine Glands. The question of which came first, the chicken or the egg, remains the eternal mystery it has always been, even when one examines the intricacies of the chakras and their corresponding endocrine glands. On the one hand, the size and rate of rotation of the chakra is determined by the immortal soul occupying the aura and the body; and on the other hand, outer events trigger split second changes that cause a flooding of the blood stream with hormones that affect both physical and psychological behavior.
The answer to the ancient question might be that the core of one's being determines the nature of the chakras but this does not prevent a near-miss traffic accident from triggering an avalanche of responses initiated from below the threshold of consciousness because the survival instinct is ultimately stronger than the receptivity or domination of circumstances that is otherwise dictated by the first chakra.
Ingrid takes an enormously broad view of the evolution of the vehicles from the beginning of the journey through Creation to the present. She shows how reaction to circumstances has shaped the mechanisms for expressing ourselves, but contrary to many philosophers, she always sees Spirit as causal. From the First Cause, experience has unfolded, and from experience, reactions to experience have shaped what Patanjali called "conditioned consciousness." The chakras and their mode of operation as well as functioning of the endocrine glands is "conditioned" by what in the broadest possible terms we can refer to as reaction, reactions that become habitual because they are determined by judgments in the personality about experience.
For instance, every allergy is an opinion in the unconscious about an alleged allergen, a substance that may or may not be dangerous to others. The uniqueness of the allergic reactions is therefore personal, not something upon which there is general consensus. Moreover, the reaction can be understood as a mode of communication between the survival instinct and the incarnate soul, a being that is often oblivious of the opinions of the subconscious.
Ingrid will use example after example from her own long career as a medical astrologer to show that there is nothing irrelevant about any physiological or psychological behavior; but to understand the behavior, one may have to explore the pictorial language of the unconscious.
COURSE CURRICULUM
Day One -- The First Chakra: the Adrenal Glands
Ingrid believes that if we go back far enough in our primordial history, we will find that the first chakra is where Spirit and Matter formed a bond that allows life to be incarnate in form. For each individual taking on the physical form, a choice must be made as to how to approach experience. When the will is intense, the first chakra will express a strong sense of survival, and the individuals with such forms will have stamina. The fight or flight mechanism is a function of the direction of the rotation of the chakra and the degree of survival instinct is measured by the size and rate of spin.
Traumas cause for erratic motion that can be corrected through various esoteric techniques such as chakra exploration, examination, repair, rebalancing, and calibrating. These operations are attended by a flood of memory and often a great deal of terror. Once the memories are released into the field of consciousness, there is an opportunity to separate history from present time and future intent. When this is successful, permanent healing takes place.
The first chakra functions far below the threshold of consciousness. It is where our "irrational" likes and dislikes reside as well as where our decision to express or learn is strongest. Where the masculine half of Creation is stronger, there is more intention and will to act. Where the feminine component is dominant, there is more receptivity and instinct to mature through assimilation and learning. Ingrid believes the bias of the first chakra is fundamental and that any effort to change the chakra will jeopardize the safety of the physical form.
The theory of interrelationship of the invisible with the visible, the anchoring of life in incarnate existence, and the evolution of the psychic and psychological content of the first chakra will take most of the first day of the seminar. The astrological signatures that provide the symbolic language for interpreting first chakra function will be covered using examples from case histories and seminar participants; and this day will end with exercises that enable people to identify certain karmic patterns and find their first chakra guardians.
Day Two-- The Second and Third Chakras
More diseases arise in these chakras that any others. Ingrid discusses the second chakra in terms of sexual differentiation, mating and parenting behavior, and bonding and freedom issues priorities. She then discusses how use of the chakra relates to water in the body: fertility, immunity, and longevity. She also discusses the diseases related to under- and overactive sacral center energies: depletion and devitalization versus surfeit and uses the examples of AIDS and cancer to illustrate how regardless of the perception of these illnesses by the medical profession, they are the antitheses of each other energetically.
In this part of the presentation, Ingrid shows how the astrological information can explain issues of sexual orientation and behavior, creativity and procreativity, and transmutation. She explains the ramifications of repression versus transmutation, celibacy and promiscuity, and basically what happens to a chakra that is often swamped in grief.
The solar plexus is the seat of fire and rules the digestive system, the second major cause of illness. Ingrid explains the concepts of fire, light, and acidity as a physiological condition and she relates these to their emotional counterparts: passion, courage, decisiveness, action and understanding. She shows how lack of initiative, indecisiveness, inability to envision the future and plan can lead to sluggish metabolism and a lack of confidence. She also shows how these factors express physically and psychologically and where there is a disparity between the ideal and the real.
Day Three -- The Higher Chakras
Ingrid discusses the twelve petals of the heart chakra, the atrophying of the thymus gland, the tragedy of an anatomical organ that is regarded as a muscle pumping blood, i.e., an appendage of the solar plexus rather than independent organ where the soul expresses its love in action. She explains the true cause of heart attacks as well as what allows the spiritual aspirant to unfold the potential of the heart in a safe manner.
The throat chakra is examined as a place of intelligent interpretation where moral persuasion can dominate instinct. Conditions such as hyper- and hypo-thyroidism are addressed as are medical opinions on the subject of such conditions as Grave's disease or chronic fatigue syndrome. Ingrid challenges the use of hormonal supplements for anything but the most critical situations and recommends completely natural approaches for rebalancing chakras that are functioning erratically.
The third eye, one of everyone's favorite topics is discussed as a place where all the biases of the personality obscure the window on the world. She shows how an incarnational pattern affects how the pituitary body works, how the Moon and its aspects reveal the way the master gland will control the rest of the endocrine system and how at the point of clarity, dissolution of the emotional charge of the historic self, and awakening to the true Self, the obscuration vanishes and there is total control over the body by the soul. At this point, the personality is infused with inspiration rather than personal opinion and there is a wider sense of possibilities for the individual.
The crown chakra is where intense soul purpose operates and where the master plan for the incarnational journey is focused. |

| | | | | Yellow Bamboo Initiation This is an initiation course that will give the partcipants a real experience of the benefits of Yellow Bamboo as well as the tools to carry on a spiritual practice that will gradually deepen your experience.
There are two main benefits you will get with Yellow Bamboo:
- Rapid spiritual self-realization, personal, business and financial development. When I taught Yoga and Meditation I believed at the time it was the most powerful form of personal development available. However, one of the main benefits of Yoga and Meditation is supposed to be the ability to achieve Self-Realization. In my travels I did indeed meet many already Self Realized masters. However, I never met anyone who went from being a “regular” person to achieve Self Realization, even after practicing for decades. My personal experience with my Yellow Bamboo students is vastly different. With our cohesive, step-by-step methods you can attain more development in one month than ten years of yoga and meditation.
- You can heal yourself and others. We teach a very powerful method of tapping into a special healing energy. It is possible to heal infirmities and disease quickly and painlessly.
This is what you actually do:
- Yellow Bamboo special joining ceremony- You will experience an original Balinese holy joining ceremony to open you to the radiant energy of the universe. You can feel the energy entering you in waves of pure white energy. This ceremony will change your life forever.
- Yellow Bamboo Mantra and Pranayama- Our own unique mantra meditation and breathing exercises designed to empower you to achieve whatever you desire in your life.

| | | | | Mukti 1 and Mukti 2 combined This three-day course is a combination of Mukti 1 (also called Discovering Grace or Antaryamin Yagna) and Mukti-2 (also called Discovering Love or Prema Yagna)
The first part is for those in need of grace to face obstacles and challenges in life, leading them to discover that the external world is but the reflection of the world within. This is mainly oriented towards awakening one’s higher self.
The second part is focusing on a profound inner transformation and the flowering of the heart. Love being the essence of this course intends to help you discover love by making you take a voyage within yourselves and into your past lives.
What is Antaryamin?
We are all aware of that irking sensation, sometime a desperate longing that arises out of loneliness and emptiness from within. Though we do not acknowledge this fact outwardly, the yearning from within never stops. All we want is a constant companion who can relate and understand and not judge! A person to whom we can communicate without the fear of being rejected! If we closely watch, all our relationships are basically built upon how important, beneficial the exchange of compassion can be and vice-versa. Here is a constant fear lurking behind one’s mind whether the object, position, power or person would last forever. It is this fear that drives a man desperate.
It is here that man must realize that there is such a companion or friend who is ready at all time.
We are talking of the ”inner-dweller” or Antaryamin. In ancient times, people were blessed with this communication that made them the successful people they were. It was due to this inner guidance that man was not struggling and existing but actually LIVING.
The greatest of all inventions and theories were actually made known to man not because he could do it on his own but that he proved to be an efficient medium to rediscover what was already there. These revelations were sometimes in the form of dreams or simple co-incidental situations. Thus one must realize that man has never been alone but been constantly guided. More importantly, that the guide was then acknowledged and thanked but fails to figure in man’s dictionary today.
The restoration of the relation with Antaryamin is a part of this course.
This is a truly unique opportunity to receive the teachings of both these intense courses combined and conducted by one of the Dasajis.
Normally, these courses are only conducted in your home country.

| | | | Mukti-3 (also called Discovering Bliss or Ananda Yagna) A 7-day advanced retreat meant for thirsting spiritual seekers to help them move into a state of causeless love and joy and also to establish a communion with their higher sacred self.
A part of this course is a form of Samskara Shuddhi. Samskaras are the fundamental impressions left on the heart of an individual, which are acquired in the present and the previous lives through various experiences. These samskaras prove to be the coded form of the entire life of an individual and therefore the success or failure of a person fully depends on the kind of Samskaras in him.
Samskara Shuddhi is a process, which cleanses you deeply of your fears, heart’s conflicts and limitations, rectifies negative life patterns that one might face and in place puts positive life patterns.
The Mukti-3 course requires a lot of discipline from the participants. To be able to do it you must have been fully prepared by going thru Mukti-1 and Mukti-2. As it takes time to incorporate the effect of the courses you must have gone thru the first two, Mukti-1 and Mukti-2, in your home country before you can attend Mukti-3 in India. If you attend Mukti-1 and Mukti-2 this time, you will be able to attend Mukti-3 at the next festival planed to be in February 2004, or in any of the western countries were the Mukti courses are held. Please see Services of The Golden Age Foundation
for more information about courses in your area.
This is a truly unique opportunity to receive the teachings of both these intense courses combined and conducted by one of the Dasajis.
Normally, these courses are only conducted in your home country.
