Back pain is also known as dorsalgia and is normally felt on your back. It originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other parts of the spine. This pain is divided into the neck, upper, lower or tailbone back pain. This is normally one of the most frequent complaints made by people.

Back pain is also known as dorsalgia and is normally felt on your back. It originates from the muscles, nerves, bones, joints or other parts of the spine. This pain is divided into the neck, upper, lower or tailbone back pain. This is normally one of the most frequent complaints made by people. This form of ailment may be identified due to quite a number of symptoms. One of the symptoms is persistent aching and stiffness anywhere along the spine from the base of the neck to the hips.

There could be sharp localized pain in the neck, upper or lower back. Worse still, one could experience inability in standing for long with pain in the back. There are several causes of this ailment some of which are self inflicted due to a lifetime bad habits. Others could be due to accidents, muscle strain and sport injures. Sources could also include pulled muscles, muscles spasms and muscles imbalances all experienced in the spine.

The discomfort in the back could be as a result of the synovial joints. It is also possible to develop this discomfort from spinal disc herniation and degenerative disc disease. Back pain is associated with a various number of conditions. Research has shown that, bladder incontinence or progressive weakness in the legs could be associated to this condition. Lack of sleep consistently due to the ailment is a cause of alarm and one should seek medical attention immediately.

Discomforting pain in the spine is also likely to occur after a trauma in someone’s life. Such traumas include car accidents or a fall. The main purpose of seeking medical intervention for this condition is to eliminate the excruciating pain experience. At times, the goal is to keep the pain to a manageable level and to progress with rehabilitation.
