This could be a sexual symbol, or a symbol of temptation. This is also a symbol of Kundalini; pure energy. A snake may be a symbol of wisdom, or someone that is trying to harm you in an underhanded and sneaky manner.

Seeing a snake or be bitten by one in your dream means hidden fears and worries that are threatening you. Your dream may be alerting you to something in your waking life that you are not aware of or that has not yet surfaced. The snake may also be seen as phallic and thus symbolize dangerous and forbidden sexuality. The snake may also refer to a person around you who is callous, ruthless, and can't be trusted. As a positive symbol, snakes represent transformation, knowledge and wisdom. It is indicative of self-renewal and positive changes.

The Buddha figure symbolizes much the same as does the figure of Jesus. Historically, their lives parallel each other.. Therefore, the symbol of Jesus in a dream often has the same meaning as that of the Buddha.

A Buddha figure will probably signify either your true self or the wisdom that lies in the unconscious and beyond reach until you resolve to get better acquainted with your psyche, or the healing required for your conflict ridden psyche.

Seeing a head in your dream means wisdom, intellect, understanding and rationality. It may also represent your accomplishments, self-image, and perception of the world. Dreaming that someone is trying to rip your head off, suggests that you are not see a situation or problem clearly. Perhaps you are refusing to see the truth. You have to confront the situation or the person despite the pain and discomfort you might feel in doing so.

Witches are priestesses of Earth Mother and they are popularly seen as malevolent {wishing evil or harm to others}.This popular view, perpetuated by those children writers and teachers who know nothing of the history of witches, derives from the Christian persecution of witches as devil-worshipers, which in turn derived from Christian tendency to separate God from nature and to worship a transcendent {sky-} god rather than an indwelling {earth-}goddess. A witch in dreams may therefore represent either the possibilities below. An internal source of wisdom, healing and growth.

Alternatively, a witch may be a destructive unconscious force: for example, a repressed part of yourself. In a man's dreama witch may symbolize the negative aspect of the anima. Do you suffer from moodiness and a conviction that nothing can ever come right for you? This may be because you feel in some way let down by your mother. Basic Meaning - A source of meaning/wisdom/energy.

(1) A god or goddess figure may represent a source of meaning/wisdom/energy. Look for that source within yourself, where it is usually covered by layers of emotion.

(2) Male god figures may represent the animus in a woman's dreams, and goddess figures may represent the anima in a mansdreams. They may lead you to deeper into your psyche.

(3) Sometimes god/goddess may represent father/mother, functioning as a part of your own (unconscious) psyche. In such cases it is likely - though not invariable - that your feelings towards the parent are ambivalent, with fear or awe as well as affection. A stern Old Testament type God may symbolize your super-ego, whose origins often lie in irrational prohibitions imposed on oneself in childhood as a reaction to real or imagined threats of punishment.

(4) God(dess) may represent your true self, your potential wholeness.

(5) The god figure in your dream may be - God! Don't be surprised if your unconscious comes up with god images from a more ancient tradition than the ones you were brought up with: the unconscious seems to have a memory that reaches back to humankind's remotest past, and even beyond (universal dream images such as that of God are from the primitive unconscious, therefore images will go beyond the traditional images you know from religious teachings). At a certain level of your psyche you may go beyond everything that is merely individual and experience oneness with life itself: an experience that may cause you to live authentically - for inner wisdom/ values - instead of merely role playing.
