The following are deciding factors for the formation of a Volkstaat: Volkstaat - Freedom Front. The Freedom Front has been the major political driving force for the formation of a Volkstaat. This Afrikaner-focused political party has representation in the national Parliament as well as several Provincial legislatures in South Africa.
