Girl Indigo

Shattered glass sparkles

through a broken window

refracting reflections

into backlit hallways

deep, deep inside, flashing

strophic light, then dark.

A figure, a shape moves

into and out of shadow

a child, a woman reverberates

in silhouette.

Broken nail, broken heart

her hair, dyed jet black, fades

in heartbeats and tears.

She is here, she is now

screaming forever.

Dimensionless and expanding

beyond the edge of visible light

she hovers in her own luminescence

untouchable, yet yearning an embrace

Beyond a grasp, colors fail

pastels wither and crimsons bleed

into neutral shades of gray

as she absorbs the sun

into her deepest indigo.

Freezer Burn

She had the clearest blue eyes

Liquid and always wet

I found a sea-bed in her eyes

And enough tears to fill it

She was one with the salt-sea

Her skin smoothed by sand and storm

And she swam within her eyes

And they kept her wet and warm

And the sun never touched her

Pale child of the tide

The water held her warm hand

And she dripped and dropped and dived

I saw her think then retake her place

She surfaced and drifted ashore

The sun came out and burned her pale face

And I held her in my cold arms

She grabbed ahold of my cold hand

not from the cold but from the comfort

that feeling you get when you lie in bed and just can't stay still because you want to be sure that this feeling coats your entire being

and so you toss and turn and sigh because you won't

you can't

go comatose until you are sure that every inch has been exposed

and we cried because we were full and had nothing left to do

valleys sunk and spirits rose

and all the squirrels died when the tide came in and buried the floor in an endless river

and were replaced by dolphins who swam amidst the leaves and trees where birds and butterflies flew

and will fly again someday

and the sound fell like rock pops and broken teeth as they chomped away at our steel souls

and we heard it as a low hum that kept us fully conscious and aware during those last few moments between waking life and dreams

and we were trapped to never change-we were protected by the metal casing

the result of over exposure

over indulgence

over doses of gaseous melancholies that seeped through your eyes

the melancholies that condensed and then cooled into a solid armor

the melancholies that forced us to drown in own own tears despite our frantic efforts to keep our heads above

they blurred our vision and we closed our eyes only to see the dawn of day

light so bright it doesn't burn your eyes

and all was clear

Dear Beloved Ascending Human,

Earth has completed in this year of 2003 with a focus upon karma associated with slavery, subordination, insanity, and deformity. The purpose of this focus was to release all global karma and thought-form associated so that a new dream of biological unity could be anchored. The male and female energies upon earth were united into the flame of Divine Union within the heart chakra of earth as the karma was released in full. The flame of Divine Union has been ignited and shines brightly in the aurora of earth! In so doing, there is a greater state of soul infusion and direction on the part of the Great Central Sun for earth as a global consciousness and vessel.

Many are excited about the upcoming New Age movie, "Indigo," written, produced, and directed by three renowned individuals who now live in Ashland - James Twyman, Neale Donald Walsch, and Stephen Simon. Appealing are the career opportunities, the camaraderie of movie-making, the promoting of spirituality and messages of peace and love. Promoters say it will stimulate the local economy and help our schools. But after examining the Indigo Child movement, and specifically the activities of co-writer/producer James Twyman, I see potential consequences for the community -- and for children.

Think back to your grade school experience. Did you look forward to school? Did you truly enjoy school? Did you feel that what you were learning was meaningful and relevant to your life? Were you able to explore your true interests and fully develop your innate abilities?

If you answered "no" to any of the above questions, how would your school experience have had to be different for you to be able to say "yes"?

Now, imagine if you had attended a school where the only curriculum you followed was the one you created by discovering and exploring your interests. Imagine if you were not tested unless you asked to be. Imagine if electing your teachers was a normal yearly affair. And imagine if it all happened in a respectful, democratic community.

The wholistic education being offered through the School of Metaphysics is a forerunner in uniting that which very much divides people in the world today. The two groups can most readily be described as people of a religious nature and those of a scientific persuasion. A chasm stands between the two and they seem never to agree. They are constantly at odds. There has been a lot of buzz lately in the mainstream Indigo circles about the "Crystal" children, a new 'ray' of manifestation engendered by the Indigo/Cobalt people. According to the popular literature, Crystals are extremely sensitive to the point of near-autism, and are extremely impressionable in many ways. In many ways, "Crystals" are more difficult to handle and understand than Indigos are/were.

Since Steve Rother and the Group first identified the Children of the Crystal Vibration in 1997, the information about these children has exploded. While some of the information is contradictory in nature, we feel that all of it is relevant and of interest to different individuals. The following article is an example of a very unique view of the new children, one that will cause many of you to pause.

In the final analysis, the most important thing to remember about the new children, whether they be labeled Indigos, Crystals, Octarines, Psychic Kids or Star Children, is that they are all our children, yours and mine. When I was young I read books and saw television shows based upon the lives of famous people. Even as a young child, I saw the paradoxes. One person makes a global success out of meager beginnings while another squanders a fortune in reputation as well as money. I wondered why. Is it fate or luck that determines success? They go by many names, such as Star Kids, Indigos or Crystalline Children. Whatever they're called, believers say this group of prodigies started appearing about 30 years ago and may now make up as much as 90 percent of the population under ten. They also exhibit strange side effects, like a higher resistance to pollutants but an increased sensitivity to sugar and food additives. These are babies born with an inherent knowledge of art, language and spirituality, possessing an impressive wealth of wisdom. Indigo children are supposedly a set of children having certain special psychological and spiritual attributes. We hear about the new children and how they are changing our world. The Indigo children are here making a difference now, but what's next? For the past seven years Steve Rother has been receiving divinely inspired information from a collective of angels simply known as "the Group." He and his partner Barbara have presented this information to delegations at the United Nations on two continents on five separate occasions. Indigos of all ages are frustrated by the shallowness of society at large, because they like to dig deeply into things that interest them. If TLC or the Discovery channel runs an in-depth series of documentaries on a subject the Indigo is interested in, they are in hog heaven. But heaven forbid if the subject is superficially approached or lightly referred to, because Indigos want to know EVERYTHING, and RIGHT NOW. (And I say, thank God and the Cold War for the Internet.)
