Feng
Shui and its relation to other factorsThree Problems Ten Solutions
The phone rings and I answer it. Before I
could say a word, a woman introduces herself as Vicki and begins firing a
series of questions. Is it bad feng shui that her main door faces a stairway?
What can she do about it? What happens if there is a low ceiling in her living
room? Do exposed beams in the master bedroom affect her feng shui? How can she
correct them?
I tell her that in feng shui analysis, there
are 60 factors involved. This should also be coordinated with each resident's
birth chart and personal energies. Because even if a person has good feng shui
- being in a low period of his/her life path, having a personality that is stubborn
or weak, having bad habits, being malnourished - all these things play a part
in influencing a person's success, relationships and health in life.

| | | | | | | | | | Upa Dictionary: The Law Of KarmaKarma means not
only action, but also the result of an action. The consequence of an action is
really not a separate thing. It is a part of the action, and cannot be divided
from it. Breathing, thinking, talking, seeing, hearing, eating, etc., are
Karmas. Thinking is mental Karma. Karma is the sum total of our acts both in
the present life and in the preceding births.
Any deed, any
thought that causes an effect, is called a Karma. The Law of Karma means the
law of causation. Wherever there is a cause, there an effect must be produced.
A seed is a cause for the tree which is the effect. The tree produces seeds and
becomes the cause for the seeds.

Revelations - Christ and KrishnaSacred Revelations: Christ and
Krishna
Both Krishna and Christ appeared on earth to help us
evolve spiritually. The Supreme, though unborn and undying, reveals itself in
human form to help us overcome the illusions of ignorance and self-centredness,
of hatred and cruelty, through love and compassion. There are interesting
similarities in the life and precepts of Krishna and Christ. Kansa and Herod -
one the king of Mathura, the other, of Palestine - were forewarned that they
would die at the hands of a child yet to be born. So, they went about
slaughtering newborns.

| | | | Upa Dictionary: What You Need For
Effortless LivingA beggar on the street and a king sitting
on the throne are both beggars. They are continuously asking for something from
the outside. One looks for money, food or shelter. The other, the king, might
be looking for happiness, or ways to conquer another kingdom.
Gautama Buddha, on the other hand, begged
only for his food, for the rest he was self-sufficient. Others, however, beg
for everything else but food. A spiritual person has earned everything else
from within, so he begs only for food.

Mukti - Sacred NumbersSacred Numbers: Maths as Tool to
Attain Mukti
"I bow to that glorious Lord of the Jainas, who
as the shining lamp of the know-ledge of numbers made to shine whole of the
universe", said Mahaviracharya in Ganita Sara Sangraha. Few know
that ancient Jain scientific thought is a rich source of Indian scientific
heritage. The grand Jain spiritual tradition and its masters broadly influenced
Indian thought and rationality in three key areas: Atomism, non-absolutism
and mathematical concepts including the theory of numbers. As realists, a
satisfactory explanation for the origin of the material world was
important to Jain philosophers.

| | | | | | | Upa Dictionary: How to have VisionsPsychic ability is something we all possess to
greater or lesser degrees, and it's something that can be consciously
developed. Some people do have a an intuitive "gift," just as others
may have gifts for art, mathematics, athletics, etc... Through focused desire
and concentration, however, we can all enhance the abilities we were born with.

| | | | Upa Dictionary: The Sublime Results of Inner
StillnessA soul infuses - life in the human body for a certain
period of time. When the soul inhabits the body, it is still one with God.
The soul, however, is overpowered by powerful forces,
such as the mind, the body, and the outer world, which cause it, over time, to
forget itself. The soul slowly begins to identify itself with the body, mind
and world outside. It is attuned to only one channel Ñ the channel of the
world.

Yantra?Sacred Geometry: YANTRAS - What is a Yantra?
All ancient
cultures had sacred geometric designs representative of their Gods, which had a
mantra (or sacred sound vibration) that corresponded to it. The Indians,
Egyptians, Jews, Chinese, and Mayans all had systems of "planetary
yantras" used to combat malefic influences. Yantra is the ultimate
"symbology". In the Vedic culture we find much power and energy said
to be held within sacred geometric symbols. They are to be found throughout
sacred scriptures, carved in stone, hidden within paintings and in temples.

| | | | Upa Dictionary: : Spiritism,
Introduction of The Spirits book - Part II of VIIf the phenomena we
are considering had been limited to the movement of objects, they would have
remained, as we have already remarked, within the domain of physical science;
but so far was this from being the case, that they speedily proved to be only
the forerunners of facts of a character still more extraordinary. For it was
soon found that the impulsion communicated to inert objects was not the mere
product of a blind mechanical force, but that it revealed the action of an
intelligent cause, a discovery that opened up a new field of observation, and
promised a solution of many mysterious problems.
From
"The Spirits book" By Allan Karde (1804-1869.
