Transpersonal Psychology / Transpersonal Counseling

A school of psychology that aims at integrating Western science and Eastern thought by moving beyond Humanistic Psychology and its focus on the self or ego. Its orientation is a holistic one that focuses on the integration of mind, body and spirit and has ultimate psychological growth and well-being as its goals.

transpersonal psychology (transpersonal counseling, transpersonal counseling psychology): Combination of Jungian psychology, psychosynthesis, and Eastern mysticism. It emphasizes meditation, prayer, and self-transcendence.

Carl Jung (see Jungian psychology) was the first to use the expression transpersonal (ueberpersoenlich), in 1917. Psychiatrist Stanislav Grof, the codeveloper of Holotropic Breathwork, coined the name transpersonal psychology.

Transformational Counseling / Transformational Therapy

Counseling techniques associated with transpersonal psychology that are aimed at promoting selfrealization at the personal level and planetary brotherhood and consciousness at the global level.

We cannot discuss reincarnation sensibly without talking about the Laws of Karma. Karma is nothing other than the Universal law of cause and effect. It is a law that is embedded in this Universe and is not present in the same way that you in third dimension experience in the higher dimensions or the multi-dimensional realities.

The techniques of past life therapy have been proven effective for many specific conditions. Still, there are cases where results just don't seem to develop in the course of good therapeutic practice. In these cases, the reason may be that we are not using the right tool for the job. The client will locate the real source of a condition if the therapist asks the right questions.

Past Life Therapy is not for the weakminded or frail-hearted. It leads a person into the depths of his own psychological makeup, but the return trip is well worth the cost of the journey, and that cost is almost always a deflation to the person's ego! After all, who wants to believe they have committed acts that were harmful to others? Or wants to remember terrible crimes in which they were a participant, or tortures in which they have been a victim in one lifetime and perhaps returned to gain revenge in subsequent lives?

Karma has quite a karma. Long after India's seers immortalized it in the Vedas, it suffered bad press under European missionaries who belittled it as "fate" and "fatalism," and today finds itself again in the ascendancy as the subtle and all-encompassing principle which governs man's experiential universe in a way likened to gravity's governance over the physical plane. Like gravity, karma was always there in its fullest potency, even when people did not comprehend it.

Planet Earth is gradually entering into an area of more intensified Light, the human mass consciousness will evolve to the point where many beings will experience simultaneous lifetimes and become more aware that as a human you are really a multidimensional being, and you will also be given the knowledge that you exist simultaneously on more than one planet. Gradually you will experience that you are working with your different light bodies in many places at once.

Breaking Past Life Vows and Pacts

Many of us have had past lives in monastic environments, religious orders, secret sects and so on. Some of us will have made strong vows in the name of God with much emotion and determination, believing that they were right, and perhaps they were for us at that time. A vow made with strong intent carries over into other lifetimes unless a time limit is specified, which is usually not the case. We may have made vows of chastity, celibacy, poverty, silence, suffering, cleanliness, purity, everlasting love or of vengeance against someone who hurt or tricked us. All these prior vows are limitations that can constrict our souls and restrict our freedom.

WHAT IS A DEPARTING VISION (OFTEN CALLED A DEATHBED VISION)?

Most Hospice workers are very familiar with departing or deathbed visions, but sometimes these experiences are difficult to put into words. A deathbed vision or Death Bed Vision is a powerful, comforting experience the dying and their family members often encounter just before death occurs. The dying will report visions of angels, deceased loved ones or religious figures moments, hours, days or even weeks before actual death takes place. These visions typically lessen the fear of dying and make passing an easier transition for all concerned.

Double Birthmarks: The Case Of Titu

The case of Titu Singh that appeared in the London-based magazine Reincarnation International is one of the more fascinating cases of double birthmarks. This story was first broadcast in 1990 on the BBC TV news program "Forty Minutes." The case of Titu who named names and details of his own murder made for exciting TV drama. By the way, the resemblance to the case of Ravi Shankar is not surprising because cases of murdered victims returning in a new body to haunt their murderers is not an uncommon theme in these past life cases.

Psychology - Mind and brain. Psychology does not necessarily refer to the brain or nervous system and can be framed purely in terms of phenomenological or information processing theories of the mind. Increasingly, though, an understanding of brain function is being included in psychological theory and practice, particularly in areas such as artificial intelligence, neuropsychology, and cognitive neuroscience.
