Dark Tranquillity is a melodic death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Starting in 1989 under the name Septic Broiler, they have had a fairly stable line-up from the start, unlike many bands from the genre. In 1994 Anders Fridén, Dark Tranquillity's original lead vocalist, left the band to join In Flames. Mikael Stanne, formerly playing rhythm guitar, then became the vocalist, with Johansson taking over the guitars. Mikael Stanne also recorded vocals with the band In Flames. It was a beautiful night. Poets lay awake, drawing inspiration from the star-spangled sky. Lovers drew closer, gazing at the moon. The elderly came out to feel the cool breeze. Children were playing in the moonlight.
 
One man watched all this with increasing despair. He was a thief. If nobody slept, how was he to do what he wanted to do? The entire community was awake. He waited endlessly. Somehow the people of this town were just not sleepy that night.

Tai Chi Chuan was derived from Taoism. The most important practice of Taoism was concerned with tranquility of mind and improvement of temperament. At the end of the Sung Dynasty a Taoist by the name of Cheung San Fung, in order to find one suitable martial art for the Taoist, often observed the habits of long- lived animals such as turtles and cranes. After many years of study, he, at last, created Tai Chi Chuan.

 Serenity is the quality of being calm and even-tempered; composed. Serenity denotes the state of people who are calm and not easily agitated emotionally. They experience mental balance and even temperament. Composure is calmness that suggests the exercise of self-control. Tranquil composure suggests imperviousness to agitation or turmoil.
