Every individual has a Life Purpose. This is the mission that you agreed to prior to your incarnation. There are two parts to your Purpose: a personal one and a global one. Your personal Purpose involves a particular characteristic that you're trying to develop in this life, such as patience or compassion. Your global Purpose involves discovering, developing, and using your natural talents and interests to help other people and the planet.

| | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Spirituality, the Psyche, and the Multi-Sensory Person The psyche is a multidimensional aspect of consciousness, most commonly thought of as being composed of the subconscious and superconscious. Thus, to humans, the psyche is considered to be those portions of the self other than the ego. However, our traditional definition of the psyche is limited by our lack of experience in utilizing the psyche as an integral, involved segment of acknowledged experience. This lack of utilization prohibits comprehension of the full range of knowledge and ability native to the psyche.
Elizabeth Jo Bittof is the author of MINDWALK; DIALOGUE WITH THE PSYCHE and MINDSCAPE FACILITATOR. She specializes in counseling and training for development and utilization of the many varied abilities of consciousness. Since a near-death experience in 1983, Elizabeth has devoted her life to exploring the untapped potentials of consciousness biologically available to mankind. | | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Prevent the Influx of Karma Particles
The word Jain has been derived from Jina, which means conqueror, implying one who has overcome all human passions. The Tattvarth Sutra, a book of supreme wisdom, was written by Umaswati, Kundkundacharya's disciple. The opening aphorism of Tattvarth Sutra talks about enlightened faith, knowledge and conduct leading to final emancipation. The enlightened faith comprises Jiva or life, Ajiva or non-life, Asharva or flow of karma, Bandha or bondage of karma, Samvar or shedding of karma-particles and Moksha.

| | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Definition of Metaphysics
The term metaphysics originally referred to the writings of Aristotle that came to light after his writings on physics, in the arrangement made by Andronicus of Rhodes, about three centuries after Aristotle's death. Traditionally, metaphysics refers to the branch of philosophy that attempts to understand the fundamental nature of all reality, whether visible or invisible. It seeks a description so basic, so essentially simple, and so all-inclusive that it applies to everything, whether divine or human or anything else. It attempts to tell what anything must be like in order to be at all.

Sometimes they do not manifest themselves visually but in terms of other phenomena, such as the movements of an object, spontaneous throwing of a light switch, noises, etc., ...

| | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Animism - OriginsEarly ideas on the subject of the soul, and at the same time the origin of them, can be illustrated by analysis of the terms applied to them. Readers of Dante know the idea that the dead have no shadows. This was no invention of the poet's but a piece of traditional lore.

Centauri Babylon 5 - Before 2258.
The Centauri Republic is old, though it was not a spacefaring civilization at the time of the first Shadow War and consequently played no part in that struggle. Instead its period of expansion spanned the centuries before the second Shadow War and the birth of the Interstellar Alliance. At its greatest extent, hundreds of worlds were subject to the Centauri Republic, hence its epithet, 'Lion of the Galaxy'. But by 2258 that empire had almost completely fallen apart, seemingly mor ...

| | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Encyclopedia - ConsciousnessConsciousness is a quality of the mind generally regarded to comprise such key features as subjectivity, self-awareness, sentience, sapience, and the ability to perceive the relationship between oneself and one's environment. It is a subject of much research in philosophy of mind, psychology, neurology, and cognitive science.

| | | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Consciousness - Cognitive neuroscience approachesModern investigations into and discoveries about consciousness are based on psychological statistical studies and case studies of consciousness states and the deficits caused by lesions, stroke, injury, or surgery that disrupt the normal functioning of human senses and cognition. These discoveries suggest that the mind is a complex structure derived from various localized functions that are bound together with a unitary awareness.
Several studies point to common mechanisms in different clinical conditions that lead to loss of consciou ...

Ghost - Ghost messengers.
A popular genre of literature from the early Renaissance to the early twentieth century was the Dialogues of the Dead. These were based upon the Witch of Endor story and the visions of Hades found in both Homer's Odyssey and Virgil's Aeneid.
In Odyssey, Odysseus travels to Hades and sees the shades of his former colleagues, including some he did not know were dead, and pours out fresh blood, which the dead hunger for, until he can find Tiresias and get ...

| | | | Telepathy Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Superhero - Growth in diversityFrom their birth until the early 1960s, superheroes largely conformed to the model of lead characters in American popular fiction in the first half of the 20th century. Hence, the typical superhero was a white, middle to upper class, heterosexual, professional, young-to-middle-aged man. A majority of superheroes still fit this description but, in subsequent decades, many minority characters have broken the mold.
