Faith
is an awesome force that can give us the power to accomplish the seemingly
impossible. There are many well-known examples of the power of faith in action.
Mother Theresa, for instance, always had faith that God would somehow provide
the food, money and provisions she needed to continue her service to the
poorest of the poor. Writings about her work are filled with miracle stories of
how the things she needed showed up exactly when she needed them, often in the
most surprising ways.
For
many years, I was one of the all-time great skeptics of the phenomenon known as
"Soul Mates." I knew of many couples who were self-proclaimed soul
mates who dissolved their relationship after a few years, and the reasons given
seemed shallow to me at best. I've studied several definitions, and my
understanding of soul mates is that these are two people who have been linked
through past lives, and their essential nature is such that they compliment
each other.
Across the world on June 8, people around the globe will be focusing on an unusual celestial event that people of Spirit will honor as a point of revelation. It is the transit of the planet Venus across the Sun. And it offers profound possibilities that we can call in to illuminate our lives and give meaning to the course of our world, and the way in which we wish to live.
This offers a tremendous opportunity for people to help shift our planet toward a balance of Spirit – honoring the Female Power that has been dominated by the Male Power for thousands of years, and open inner doorways for healing self, others and our world.
There is much synchronicity to this timing.
On May 8, exactly one month before the Venus transit, Native American peoples in the Americas and others of Spirit joined to honor the Earthly Mother through a giant Medicine Wheel, 600 miles in diameter.
In the philosophy of feng shui, before you
were born, you existed as part of the five elements in nature. At the instant
you are born, the energy field created by the placement of the planets when you
enter the world affects you, and in many ways, determines your lifehart"
that defines your life in accurate detail and what your dominant element is. I
call this your "birth element".
