Dictionary - Glasses, Spectacles
Glasses/Spectacles: The significance of this dream depends on whether or not the dreamer normally wears glasses. If he or she does normally wear glasses, this aspect of the dream has little significance. But for someone who does not wear glasses, dreaming of wearing glasses is a sign that things that are confusing now will become clearer very soon - unless it's sunglasses, in which case things may become more obscure. Again, if you're not certain what it is that will become either clearer or more obscure, look to the other symbols in the dream.

 | | | Sunglasses Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - 2000s - Trends and Fashion
2000s - United States.
Fashion slowly becomes less grungy and more excessive as the wearing of flannel by people under 30 declines and acid-washed jeans and shaggy hair become again commonplace for boys and men. For girls and women hoop earrings, originally popular in the 1980s and early 1990s, return to style circa 2004.
Wearing baseball caps backwards peacefully falls out of style, in favor of wearing them sideways or forwards. Sunglasses begin to become less widespread as a fashion statement, un ...

 | | | Sunglasses Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Ghoulardi - BiographyErnie Anderson was a big band and jazz enthusiast, and WWII U.S. Navy veteran born in Lynn, Massachusetts on November 22, 1923. This irreverent and influential movie host was strictly hipster, unlike the horror character prototype. Ghoulardi’s costume was a long lab coat covered with “slogan” buttons, horn-rimmed sunglasses with a missing lens, fake Van Dyke beard and moustache, and various messy, awkwardly-perched wigs.
During breaks from the movies, Anderson addressed the camera live in a part-Beat, part-ethnic accented commen ...

 | | | Sunglasses Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Andy Kaufman - RebirthSince the passing of this date, there have been unsubstantiated reports claiming that Kaufman is back from the dead and has a blog apparently chronicling his comeback. [1] However, these claims are highly questionable and are even self-contradictory in places (on the blog he contradicts the, now suspended, press release which he apparently wrote and paid for himself). Potentially dozens of fake Kaufmans were expected to appear around this time and this appears to be another example of urban legends inspiring real events.

 | | | Sunglasses Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Hipster - Hipster lingoMany terms in the hipster argot, such as hip, kicks, square and dig continue to be used in their hipster meanings, though often with a certain level of self-conscious irony attached. Cool has entered the everyday speech of many English speakers, and become so common, it is rarely thought of as a word associated with a particular hipster aesthetic.
An even earlier term for hipster was gate, used because gates swing. Gate, Jim, and Jackson were used in place of regular names ...

Top Gun - Film.
Throughout the film 'enemy' fighters are identified as 'MiG-28s'. This designation was never used for a Soviet fighter aircraft in real life; the hostile jets were actually repainted Northrop F-5E Tiger IIs for the single-seat jets, and T-38 Talons for the two-seater jets. Training adversary aircraft were Douglas A-4 Skyhawks.
Although not identified in the film, according to the 2004 DVD audio commentary, the enemy fighters are North Korean in origin.

 | | | Sunglasses Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Stanford prison experiment - ResultsThe experiment very quickly got out of hand. Prisoners suffered — and accepted — sadistic and humiliating treatment at the hands of the guards, and by the end many showed severe emotional disturbance.
After a relatively uneventful first day, a riot broke out on day two. Guards volunteered extra hours and worked together to break up the revolt, without supervision from the research staff. After this point, the guards tried to divide the prisoners and pit them against each other by setting up a "good" cell block and a "bad" cell blo ...
