Success: Two Key Ingredients to Living A Successful Life

AUDIOMOTIVATION What other tools and resources would you say are essential to achieve personal success and I'd love to pass that along to the AudioMotivation members today.

JOHN HARRICHARAN You know, I always thought there were two important things in the recipe of success. Two of the most important ingredients in success are, number one a sense of purpose and number two a touch of madness. You've got to be crazy. And I mean that in a really lighthearted way.

Success: The Power of Positivity in Creating Abundance

We limit ourselves by limited thinking. Many a times, our beliefs follow long habituated patterns of established behavior. We need to, at times, raise our level of thinking by affirming to ourselves, the universal abundance and positive influences... thereby dispersing our cloudy belief-patterns into a fresh downpour of creative abundance!

By choosing to curb the babble of untruth, both inner and outer, by listening to the guidance from within and following the path of what we find most spiritually nurturing, we open a channel of abundance, blocked only by our limited thinking.

Success: Encyclopedia II - Schnappi - Success

In 2004 Schnappi became popular on the Internet and was downloaded often. So in December 2004, the song Schnappi, das kleine Krokodil was released on CD. The single reached #1 on the German Pop-Charts by January 3, 2005. This phenomenon was widely taken as a counterexample to recent claims by representatives from major music labels that sharing music over the internet is harmful to the sales numbers of that music songs. The huge commercial success of Schnappi may not have b ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - Lifestyle Brand - Success

One key indication that a brand has become a lifestyle is when it successfully extends beyond its original product category. For example, Nike used to be a product-focused company focusing on making running shoes. But over time, it became a lifestyle brand based on the athlete subculture. This has allowed it to expand into related athletic categories, such as sports equipment and apparel. A successful merchandising and licensing program is one of the key indicators of a lifestyle brand. Examples include Calvin Klein licensing its name ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - Daniel Mendoza - Success

Mendoza created a new style of boxing. Rather than simply battering opponents into submission, his "scientific style" included movement. His ability to overcome much heavier adversaries was a consequence of this. In 1789 he published The Art of Boxing. Mendoza was so popular than the London press reported news of one of his bouts ahead of the storming of the Bastille which marked the start of the French Revolution. He transformed the English stereotype of a Jew - and perhaps immigrant communities generally - from a weak, indefensible person into someone deserving of respect. He is said to have been the ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - Utah Beach - Success

By the end of D-Day, some 20,000 troops had safely landed on the beach, along with 1,700 vehicles. Only about 200 casualties were recorded during the landings. Several factors contributed to the success at Utah vs. the bloody battle at nearby Omaha: Fewer German fortifications: the defense of the area was largely based on flooding the coastal plain behind the beaches, and there were fewer bunkers. Effective pre-invasion bombardment: many of the known large bunkers, such as the coastal battery near Saint-Martin-de-Varrev ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - Roberto Baggio - Success

He won his first scudetto with Juventus in 1995. After strong pressures from A.C. Milan chairman Silvio Berlusconi, he was sold to the Milanese club, at which he won his second scudetto a year later. At the Milan club, he was frequently at odds with his chairman who was once an admirer of Baggio and had declared that he was never a fan of Baggio's dreadlocks but if the striker kept scoring goals at a prodigious rate for the club, Berlusconi would not even bother to care about Baggio's fashion statement. In 1997, when he thought ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - NFL Films - Success

Although NFL Films earns more than $50 million in revenue a year and is expanding at a double digit rate, compared to the $18 billion in revenue that the NFL earns from television alone, most consider this to be minor. [4] The real value of NFL Films is how it packages and sells the game and many credit it for the reason that the NFL has become the most watched league in the United States. In addition to covering the NFL, NFL Films has also ventured into other unrelated documentary films, such as documenting the Munich Olympics incident for one of NBC's Olympics telecasts, and serving as back-up fil ...

Success: Encyclopedia II - Scott Joplin - Success

By 1898 Joplin had sold six pieces for the piano. Of the six, only Original Rags, a compilation of existing melodies which he wrote collaboratively, is a ragtime piece. The other five were two songs (mentioned previously), two marches, and a waltz. In 1899, Joplin sold what would become his most famous piece, Maple Leaf Rag to John Stark & Son, a Sedalia, Missouri, music publisher. Joplin received a one-cent royalty for each copy and ten free copies for his own use. It has been estimated that Joplin made $360 ...

"Rivers of Babylon", with lyrics partially based on Psalm 137, became the second highest selling single of all time in the UK in 1978. After Rivers of Babylon slipped back down the chart, the B-side "Brown Girl in the Ring" was given extensive airplay on radio and the single climbed back up the chart to #2.
