Sri Bhagavan is a term originally used for Sri Krishna, who guided Arjuna in the Srimad Bhagavad Gita. Since 1900 or so, the term has come to universally refer to the realized sage, Sri Ramana Maharshi, who spent 50 years of his life at Arunachala near Tiruvannamalai, in South India.
