 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Dream
Interpretation - Yawning
Yawning - If you yawn in your dreams, you will search in vain for health and contentment.
- To see others yawning, foretells that you will see some of your friends in a miserable state. Sickness will prevent them from their usual labors.

Spiritual - Theosophy
Dictionary on
Oxygen
Oxygen The physical elements are merely the grossest manifestations or reflections on this material plane of invisible, intangible spiritual originants. In this context, all the matter in the universe can be reduced to four substantial elements: carbon, hydrogen, oxygen, and nitrogen. In the first manifested triad -- Mother, Father-Son-Husband, Son -- Oxygen corresponds to Father-Son-Husband; thus, the names of the chemical elements are also used to denote the subtler, more ethereal or spiritual elements from which they proceed. "We would call hydrogen and oxygen (which instills the fire of life into the 'Mother' by incubation) in the pregenetic and even pre-geological ages -- the Spirit, the noumenon of that which becomes in its grossest form oxygen and hydrogen and nitrogen on Earth -- nitrogen being of no divine origin, but merely an earth-born cement to unite other gases and fluids, and serve as a sponge to carry in itself the breath of LIFE -- pure air" (SD 1:626). Oxygen corresponds to vitality or prana in the lower quaternary of human principles. Moreover, an elixir of life is said to be produced alchemically from ozone, an allotrope of oxygen (SD 1:144).

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Sponge - AnatomySponges comprise only four types of cells:
Choanocytes (also known as "collar cells"), which line the spongocoel and function as the sponge's digestive system, are remarkably similar to the protistan choanoflagellates.
Porocytes are tubular cells that make up the pores.
Flat epidermal cells line the outside of the sponge and form its skin.
Amoebocytes live between the choanocytes and the epidermis. They carry out many of the sponge's functions, such as transport of nutrients, secretion of the spicules, ...

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Who Are The Indigo People? Part Four
Indigo homes are interesting places- often reflecting the owner's diverse tastes in books, music, dŽcor, and everything else. We span the spectrum in organizational skills, but the typical Indigo dwelling is a symphony of elegant chaos- often cluttered and packed with books and papers, but not filthy. (It's that learning thing.) Our homes won't make it into decorator's magazines, but we know where everything is, and are comfortable with it. This doesn't mean that we don't get clutter fatigue- there is a certain stage of life where accumulation has to give way to dispersal.

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Shoe polish - Composition toxicology and disposalShoe polish consists of a waxy colloidal emulsion, a substance composed of a number of partially immiscible liquids and solids mixed together. It is usually made from ingredients including some or all of naphtha, lanolin, turpentine, wax (often Carnauba wax), gum arabic and if required a colourant or dye. It typically has a specific gravity of 0.8, is negligibly soluble in water, and is made of between 65 and 77 percent volatiles—usually naphtha. The high amount of volatile substances means that the shoe polish will dry out and harden after application, while retaining its shine.See also:Shoe polish, Shoe polish - Usage, Shoe polish - History, Shoe polish - Before the 20th century, Shoe polish - Modern polish, Shoe polish - Surge in popularity, Shoe polish - Modern day, Shoe polish - Composition toxicology and disposal, Shoe polish - Manufacture Read more here: » Shoe polish: Encyclopedia II - Shoe polish - Composition toxicology and disposal |

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Yoga for a glowing skin
Yoga gives your skin a healthy glow by balancing your hormones and boosting the flow of oxygen-rich blood to your skin. This keeps your skin resilient and prevents dryness and excessive sagging. Yoga also tones the muscles of your face and neck. Medically poor diet and poor stimulation of the circulatory and excretory systems and subsequent build up of toxins are the root cause of skin eruptions. Shitli Kumbhak paranayam has the potential to reduce facial wrinkles. It also improves blood circulation and purifies the blood, reduces toxins and acidity and prevents skin infections.

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Shock jock - BackgroundThe idea of a performer or entertainer that breaks taboos or places their careers in the realm of the currently offensive is not a new one. Despite insistences of some decency activists, there are few eras of history in which there have not existed notoriously offensive performers (Benny Bell, Le Pétomane, Redd Foxx, Lenny Bruce, to name a few). Shock jocks, as the current incarnation of this phenomenon, entered the American radio scene during the 19 ...

Most of this iron is found in various iron oxides, such as the minerals hematite, magnetite, and taconite. The earth's core is believed to consist largely of a metallic iron-nickel alloy. About 5% of the meteorites similarly consist of iron-nickel alloy. Although rare, these are the major form of natural metallic iron on the earth's surface.

 | | | Sponge Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Bottlenose Dolphin - Bottlenose Dolphins and humansSome people kill Bottlenose Dolphins for food or because they compete for fish. Bottlenose Dolphins (and several other dolphin species) often travel together with tuna, and since the dolphins are much easier to spot than the tuna, fishermen commonly encircle dolphins to catch tuna, sometimes resulting in the death of dolphins. This has led to boycotts of tuna products and a "dolphin-safe" label for tuna caught with methods that don't endanger dolphins.
Bottlenose Dolphins (as well as other dolphins) are often trained to perform in dol ...
