New Age
Spirituality Dictionary on Exit Counseling Exit Counseling A less coercive program of deprogramming designed to "save" members of spiritual groups that are considered false, harmful, or dangerous. The program usually involves a two to three day voluntary counseling session emphasizing education and dialogue, often with a licensed mental health professional, a former member of the group, and/or a specialist on cult dynamics. The approach stresses true personal and religious freedom in the context of providing additional information and full disclosure, which facilitates more informed decision-making. Family counseling and intervention techniques may also be incorporated. (See also: Exit Counseling, New Age Spirituality, Body Mind and Soul)

 | | | Spiritual Counselling: Spiritual Counsel For Rio Plus Ten Spirituality and sustainability go hand in hand. Living in a sustainable manner helps in spiritual growth. This week, representatives of more than a hundred countries are congregating in Johannesburg, South Africa, to discuss and perhaps come to an agreement on how to create sustainable living on Planet Earth. However, none of the information handouts made available so far have given any indication that there will be discussions on the subject of spirituality and its effects on sustainability. Introduction of The Spirits book - Part II of VIIf the phenomena we are considering had been limited to the movement of objects, they would have remained, as we have already remarked, within the domain of physical science; but so far was this from being the case, that they speedily proved to be only the forerunners of facts of a character still more extraordinary. For it was soon found that the impulsion communicated to inert objects was not the mere product of a blind mechanical force, but that it revealed the action of an intelligent cause, a discovery that opened up a new field of observation, and promised a solution of many mysterious problems. | | | Spiritual Counselling: A Perfect MarriageTimes of great upheaval in our lives are very powerful opportunities for new growth. I feel a bit like I'm bungee jumping and in free fall. All that was has been yanked out from under me, and as I surrender in each moment, I am falling, falling. It is both unnerving and exhilarating at the same time, for I know that things happen for the best, one way or another, and this knowing is literally my "lifeline." | | | Spiritual Counselling: Growing Energy Balls Most of the time, we take a longer and more involved "route" to fulfillment than we need to, because we tend to focus on working toward our goals through physical action rather than manifesting them through inner vision. When we employ the law of attraction and focus our full attention on what we desire, we fuel the creation of what we want in our lives. The more we focus on a particular goal, the stronger its potential becomes. Through repeated thought or focus, we actually create a thought form that becomes self-sustaining. | | | Spiritual Counselling: That's The Spirit! Spirits can be intoxicating, exhilarating, mystifying, prankish or terrifying. The term "spirit" means different things to different people at different times. So what is "spirit?" When I use the term "spirit" here, I refer strictly to ghosts and the spirit world, to the life beyond death. Read more here: » Spirits: That's The Spirit! |

 | | | Spiritual Counselling: Destiny of Souls At the moment of death, our soul rises out of its host body. If the soul is older and has experience from many former lives, it knows immediately it has been set free and is going home. These advanced souls need no one to greet them. However, most souls I work with are met by guides just outside Earth's astral plane. A young soul, or a child who has died, may be a little disoriented until someone comes closer to ground level for them An excerpt from Destiny of Souls by Michael Newton Read more here: » Spirit World: Destiny of Souls |

Evaluating a Potential PsychicPsychic Reading - Evaluating a Potential Psychic The use of readers and healers with mediumistic and clairvoyant abilities can provide meaningful insight into areas where we are stuck in our process. The information conveyed can range from the level of spiritual trivia (yes, Grandma is happy now that she's passed on) all the way to identifying long-standing patterns that need to be healed in order to move forward (you've ran a 2,000 year theme of betrayal in your past lives due to a major boo-boo way back there). Mind vs. IntellectThe mind is bigger than the brain. When people say "my mind," they are most likely referring to their intellect. The intellect is a process of the brain and, much of the time, along with our emotions, acts as part of our ego's defense system. The intended function of the intellect was to assess our immediate environment and communicate the information to the body so it could respond in whatever manner was appropriate to protect our physical being. | | | Spiritual Counselling: Love What You EatI propose that all the knowledge you will ever need about nutrition is within your reach. Within you is an amazing storehouse of all the information you have ever encountered about diet. Your body knows better than any book what nutritional balance it needs. It tries constantly to communicate that information, it's just not always received and interpreted accurately. Read more here: » Body

Introduction of The Spirits book - Part I of VISpiritualism is the opposite of Materialism; every one is a Spiritualist who believes that there is in him something more than matter, but does not follow that he believes in the existence of spirits, or in their communication with the visible world. Instead, therefore of the words SPIRITUAL, SPIRITUALISM, we employ, to designate this latter belief, the words SPIRITIST, SPIRITISM, which, by their form, indicate their origin and radical meaning, and have thus the advantage of being perfectly intelligible; and we reserve the words spiritualism, spiritualist, for the expression of the meaning attached to them by common acceptation.
