Spiritual Awakening: Danger, High Voltage - Kundalini Awakening

A Kundalini release can be triggered by meditation, yoga, prayer, bodywork, psychedelic drugs, a life crisis (such as extreme physical or emotional trauma, a near-death experience or the death of a loved one), childbirth, menopause, certain ascetic or sexual practices, and so forth. Kundalini can also awaken spontaneously from no apparent cause. This out-of-the-blue Kundalini arousal occurred in my own case in 1991. Since then, I have communicated with hundreds of people whose Kundalini rose involuntarily, initiating a long transformative process.

Spiritual Awakening: Journey into Awakening (part 1)

Ever since I can remember stories of holy men and women in the mountaintops and forests of India living in enlightened states of divine union have fascinated me. I looked to them with admiration and some envy, recognizing the longing deep in my heart to achieve a similar state of enlightenment, yet convinced I did not have the discipline nor stamina required to spend years in a cave hidden away from the world seeking this most precious of all pearls. In this article, Kiara Windrider share his experience from his personal journey and quest for Awakening.

Spiritual Awakening: Kundalini Yoga - Techniques and Pitfalls

Breath, sound and meditation are the main resources of kundalini yoga. For example, a school of Kundalini yoga is probably best recognised for its frequent use of 'Breath of Fire' and the mantra 'Sat Nam'. Breath of Fire is a breathing exercise where you inhale and exhale rapidly through the nose without pausing, and pump the navel point while using the abdomen as a bellows. Sat Nam means 'truth is my identity' and, as a chant, is used to stop mind chatter by creating a rhythm that produces higher consciousness.

Spiritual Awakening: Childrens Psychic Abilities and Sense Perception

Psychic and intuitive perception (what most people refer to as their “gut feeling”) is god given and natural to us when we are born. But what happens to these abilities as humans grow and develop? Children are generally taught to use them only in their most basic form and psychic abilities are often seen as superstition, imagination and other worldly experiences. How can we as parents support our children in awakening these innate abilities?

Spiritual Awakening: Spiritual Psychology and Samskara Shuddi

Spiritual Psychology is based on an understanding of humans being multi-layered entities with a mind, body and Soul. How do we awaken the Soul Aspect of our being and how come we could meditate on a mountaintop for eons without significantly touching our underlying emotional traumas? Likewise, how come we could do psychoanalyze ourselves for a lifetime without moving a step closer to enlightenment. How do we reconcile this uneasy alliance between our emotional and spiritual selves?

Spiritual Awakening: False awakening and lucidity

How often have you woken in the night, looked at a digital clock, but it has appeared blurred or doesn't make sense? Have you ever reached out to turn on the light - or any electrical appliance - to discover that it doesn't function properly, or not at all? Have you got vague memories of getting up in the middle of the night, trying to open the door, finding that it won't open and going back to bed? Would you believe it, if you were told that you were probably dreaming? A false awakening is a convincing illusion of having woken when, in fact, you are still in dreaming sleep, so the imagery - although seemingly real - is artificial.

Spiritual Awakening: : Spiritual Health – Amalgam from an homeopathic view

There are 40 to 60 tons of amalgam in the teeth of Sweden's population. About 50 percent of this is mercury. Everyone agrees that mercury is not good for the environment or for health, but still a majority of people have amalgam in their teeths. The homeopath Lars Lonnerud knows what mercury does to us and how we can have it removed without getting sick.

Spiritual Awakening: Lesya - Jaina Theory Of Coloured Destiny

The 'soul' metaphysics in Jainism has a very interesting colour-coded concept called the Lesya . According to Jainism, Lesya is determined by the adherence of karmic matter to the jiva or soul, resulting from both good and bad actions. This adherence is compared to the way in which particles of dust adhere to a body smeared with oil.

Spiritual Awakening: Yoga Sadhanas for Kundalini Awakening

One should become perfectly desireless and should be full of Vairagya before attempting to awaken Kundalini. It can be awakened only when a man rises above Kama, Krodha, Lobha, Moha, Mada and other impurities. Kundalini can be awakened through rising above desires of the senses. The Yogi, who has got a pure heart and a mind free from passions and desires will be benefited by awakening Kundalini. If a man with a lot of impurities in the mind awakens the Sakti by sheer force through Asanas, Pranayamas and Mudras, he will break his legs and stumble down.

Spiritual Awakening: Short introduction to Curative Hypnotherapy

Curative Hypnotherapy seeks to cure at a deeper level of consciousness, bringing about physical, emotional or mental changes, using the natural state of hypnosis to harness the power of the mind within us. Hypnosis facilitates an increased ability to produce desirable changes in habit patterns, self-image, lifestyle and personal health, because of greater receptivity to suggestions, questioning, and imagery. Hypnotherapy will literally change your life, quickly healing and changing unwanted patterns as hypnosis dramatically speeds up the process giving results in a few sessions as opposed to conventional Counselling, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psycho-Analysis which can take many months to years to gain similar results.

Spiritual Awakening: Why are we moved to do what we do? Š Part I

Why are we moved to do what we do? For what purposes do we act? Certainly the answers to these questions are diverse and complex. I am going to outline seven major aspects or "levels" of motivation. These seven are related to the psychic chakras of Hindu occultism.

Spiritual Awakening: Why are we moved to do what we do? Š Part IV

The heart in many ways is the center of our body and our levels of consciousness. Here the life force pulses through our system. I consider love, which is the basis of this whole philosophy, to be not only the central motive in human life but also the most important and most divine. Here we focus on love as a motive.

Spiritual Awakening: Indigo Generations

The People of the Indigo Ray, or the Blue Ones, have been on this planet for a while, but have not manifested in such great numbers for a very long time. There has always been a random sprinkling of Indigos in the population in all generations, but these people were fairly rare before the final third of the Twentieth Century. And Indigos have been with us since the dawn of time, and many have contributed much to our advancement- some were famous, many were not. All were unique and gifted.

The current heavy surge of Indigo arrivals have manifested in five distinct and discernable decants or generations of one decade each. Each generation has distinguishing characteristics, auric veils, and Awakening/Saturn's Return years. I have listed them here for clarity.

Spiritual Awakening: Christian Mantras And Meditation

Chanting of mantras and the practice of meditation are time-honoured traditions in oriental religions like Hinduism and Buddhism. Christians use the concept of chanting in a variety of ways in their prayer. The Divine Office or Prayer of the Church is a rhythmic recitation or singing of the Psalms in monastic communities. For a Christian the practice of meditation is the practice of an 'awareness' of God in Christ. Equally, at the heart of the practice of Christian meditation is the essential onslaught on the 'ego' so that we may be completely free from its domination. Prophet Isaiah says (30:15): "In conversion and tranquillity lies your salvation".
