| | | | | | | Schools: New Alternative Schools for Children
What is this? This statement will serve dual purpose. It is for those who might be interested in creating, manifesting, and establishing an alternative school in their area. This can serve as a simplified outline to support or inspire your Vision and goals. It is also for those who might be interested in working in this New School environment and/or who are dissatisfied with the current situation presented and forced upon children labeled as 'education', and whom have not found a school which offers education, a nurturing/supportive environment and assist s their children in consciousness reality. Children have never fit into the 1950's model for education, and certainly not the model of strict thinking and behavior of the era prior to the 1950's. It is now Time, with the Shift of Consciousness fully present, with the obvious deterioration of life systems around us, our realization that there is no such thing anymore as "weather patterns" and all will be intensifying, and that our world is experiencing vast and intense change in the land and in the ability to live in the manner we have grown accustomed, it is with these in focus, I present the following information.

| | | | Schools: The three main
branches of BuddhismBuddhism Schools: The three main
branches of Buddhism
Buddhism has evolved into myriad schools
that can be roughly grouped into three types: Nikaya, Mahayana, and Vajrayana.
Of the Nikaya schools, only the Theravada survives. Each branch sees itself as
representing a true, original teachings of the Buddha, and some schools believe
that the dialectic nature of Buddhism allows its format, terminology, and
techniques to adapt over time in response to changing circumstances, thus
validating dharmic approaches different from their own.

| | | | Schools: The Vedanta Schools of PhilosophyThe Sutras or
aphorisms of Vyasa are the basis of the Vedanta philosophy. These Sutras have
been variously explained by different commentators. From these interpretations
have arisen several schools of philosophy: Kevala Advaita philosophy of Sri
Sankaracharya the philosophy of Qualified Monism or Visishtadvaita of Sri
Ramanujacharya, the Dvaita philosophy of Sri Madhvacharya, the Bhedabheda
philosophy of Sri Nimbarkacharya, the Suddha Advaita philosophy of Sri
Vallabhacharya, the Achintya Bhedabheda philosophy of Sri Chaitanya and the
Siddhanta philosophy of Sri Meykandar.
Each system of
philosophy treats of three main problems: God, world and soul. The several
schools of philosophy are only different attempts at discovering the Truth.

| | | | | Schools: Karma YogaKarma Yoga - The Yoga of Action
Karma yoga joins both the physical and
mental aspects of Hindu philosophy to produce a single concept. It believes
that the present relies on the past and that in turn, with your actions, you
can alter the future. Selflessness is a primary requirement for karma practice.
Steering your actions towards the good Ð saying good, thinking good, doing good
will all facilitate selflessness. Acting this way eliminates egoistic and
negative behaviour and enables you to influence your destiny.
