Sacred Realm: Encyclopedia II - Sacred Realm - The Golden Land in the story of A Link to the Past

According to the English manual... In Hyrule, there are many Hylian buildings which are mentioned repeatedly in the Legends. These buildings, which now lie in ruin, pale shadows of their former splendor, are closely tied to the Triforce. Some were said to have the Triforce itself... If it were only a symbol of the Gods, the Triforce would be coveted by many. But a verse from the Book of Mudora made the Triforce even more desirable: "In a realm beyond sight, See also:

Sacred Realm: Encyclopedia II - Triforce - History

According to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, the earliest game chronologically, Hylian myth states that the Triforce was bestowed upon the world by the three goddesses Din, Nayru, and Farore. The Triforce was created when the goddesses left the realm of Hyrule at the exact point where they left; it houses the essence of the goddesses and it is the ultimate representation of all power, wisdom, courage and magic in Hyrule. The Triforce was guarded in the Temple of Light in a land parallel and reflective of the "normal" Hyrule, kno ...

Sacred Realm: Encyclopedia II - Link Legend of Zelda - Common attributes of all Links

Link is a courageous boy or young man—it is unlikely that his age ever exceeds 17 years at any point in the series. In the Legend of Zelda (LoZ) games, he usually leaves his home and relatives at an early age to pursue his destiny and fight Ganon, his archenemy, or other servants of evil. In almost all LoZ games, (exceptions being Zelda II: The Adventure of Link and the upcoming The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) Link is a child or a young adolescent when he begins his quest. This is made clear throu ...

Sacred Realm: Ocarina of Time characters: Encyclopedia II - The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time characters - Navi

Navi is a fairy companion who is instructed to assist Link in his quest by the Great Deku Tree in the Kokiri Forest. All Kokiri have companion fairies, but because Link is actually a Hylian, he never received one until Navi joined him near the beginning of the events in Ocarina of Time. From a gameplay perspective, Navi functions primarily as a software agent that points out cues in the environment and helps the player learn the controls and advance in the game, but in some areas of the game, she turns green and hovers near a suspicious spot, such as a puddle in a dung ...

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time weapons and items - Tunics and boots. The Kokiri Boots are the standard boots with which Link begins the game. They fit him as both a child and an adult. The Hover Boots look like a pair of standard brown boots with two golden wings attached to their soles. They have little traction - making it difficult for Link to walk without sliding everywhere - but if he walks off a ledge, he can hover in the air for a moment before falling. Link can wear these ...

Ganondorf's desire is to gain the Triforce and the ultimate power that comes with it. To do this he needs to gather three Spiritual Stones (the Kokiri Emerald, the Goron Ruby and the Zora Sapphire) and use them to unlock the Door of Time. To try to coerce the three races into giving up their Spiritual Stones, he strikes down the Great Deku Tree and Lord Jabu-Jabu with curses, and blocks up Dodongo's Cavern (the Goron's mine/food source). ...

Sacred Realm: Encyclopedia II - The Legend of Zelda series races - Gerudo

Quick witted, aggressive, fiery tempered and highly attractive, the Gerudo are a tribe of thieves from The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Their race consists entirely of women, but legend has it that a man is born every hundred years, and this man is destined to become the King of the Gerudo. They have dark, tanned skin, red hair, and some say they have a rather bird-like appearance, causing some to link them to the Rito from The Wind Waker; in the manga, they appear most as arab harem-style figures. They are known to have relations with Hylian men, with ...

The concept of the multiverse is also present in the film The One, the video games Chrono Trigger and Chrono Cross by Squaresoft, the Digimon television series. The Dungeons & Dragons role-playing game has a thoroughly developed system of planes of existence. A popular campaign setting for the game, Planescape, centres around travelling between these planes. Sacred Realm: Encyclopedia II - Ganon - Game Appearances

Ganon - The Legend of Zelda. Ganon first appeared in the original The Legend of Zelda game for the Famicom in 1986; the following year, the game was brought over to the American NES. In that game, Ganon first appeared sort of like a monstrous blue pig. During Link's actual fight with him, however, he turns invisible and randomly warps around the room throwing fireballs at the hero. Only a sword can cause him damage, and after being struck by it enough times he will turn red (and visible) and stop wa ...
