| ARTICLES RELATED TO Relationships | | | | | Relationships: Addictive Love RelationshipsThere
are two fascinating qualities that can enter into our lives or the lives of
those we care for at any moment: love and addiction. At first these two may
appear to be strange bedfellows: love evokes pleasurable images of couples
passionately embracing or tenderly gazing into each others' eyes, while
addiction brings up a darker, grim, even desperate image of people struggling
against a part of themselves that is out of control. Yet at their core, both
have in common a profound spiritual yearning, the desire to transcend the self,
to experience powerful states of bliss and ecstasy and to merge with and feel a
part of something greater than oneself.

| | | | Relationships: Bob's Theory of Relativity of LoveIn
this article, I'd like to present a few ideas about Love and what Love means to
me. It is not meant to be a definition of Love--I don't think Love can be
defined, only described. This article is not an essay on what Love
"should" or "should not" be. I'm not sure there are any
"shoulds" when speaking about Love. The ideas in this article are
only my opinions. I'm also sure that none of the ideas in this article are new
or original because Love has been around longer than I have.
I'd
like to explain a thing I call "Bob's Theory of Relativity." Stated
simply, it says that everything Einstein said about light also applies to Love.

| | | | Relationships: The End Of Marriage As We Know ItSomething
seems to be seriously wrong with marriage.
During
the past 50 years, the rate of divorce in the United States has exploded out of
control to its current level of about 50 percent, and it shows no signs of
letting up. That is a very sobering trend and statistic. I recently contributed
to that number, and it doesn't feel so good, especially when there are innocent
children involved. Some people have contributed more than once. Most of them
probably feel worse than I do, and wonder where it all went wrong.

Relating To Others: Mirror, Mirror on the WallThe
insights we attain come through the heart. Perhaps the intellect can be a
vehicle for enlightenment, but for me and millions of others, the pathway
through the heart is the most healing and beautiful way to learn and grow.
Relationships with friends and family are filled with learning opportunities.
They come in many forms, and could be intellectually discussed for many hours,
though there is only one true lesson to learn. We learn to give service
unselfishly to our partners or friends and others who may knock on our doors.

Shui In The Bedroom: Romancing the Bagua
If
one of your goals this year is to call a partner into your life or to enhance a
partnership that seems to lack the thrill it used to have, the best room to
adjust in your home is your master bedroom. This is true whether your master
bedroom is in the Partnership corner of your house or not. The master bedroom
represents a primary relationship, no matter where it's located. Anytime there
are relationship issues, particularly in personal relationships, it is
important to keep the bedroom in order and in a balanced and harmonious state.

The Energy of Relationships When speaking
of relationships, we mean any person with whom you have frequent or continuing
interactions. Throughout your life, your energy is connected with others
through shared interactions. Length or duration of a relationship does not
determine the strength of the energy bond. The strength or 'intensity' of an
energy bond is determined by the amounts and types of energy you put into that
bond. Due to this, some relationships may have ended long ago, but have a
'stronger intensity' than current or ongoing relationships.

| | | | Relationships: For the Love of KarmaRelationship karma operates in all our
relationships and starts in each life with childhood family interactions.
Relationships are where we learn fundamental lessons in life through contact
with karmic connections and soulmates. Karmic connections or soul groups are
people we feel instantly familiar with. We have a sense of connection stemming
from a previous life or lives either in a positive or negative setting.

| | | | Relationships: Feng Shui and LoveFeng Shui and Love
A house's feng shui can influence its
resident's love relationships. However, the effects vary because everyone is
unique and lives in different houses. Nonetheless, there are some general
characteristics that create single or lonely people such as life long bachelors
and bachelorettes or widows and widowers.

The Astrology of IntimacyThe
Astrology of Intimacy
Love
and relationships are high on the list of concerns for most human beings. There
are some solitary souls who are quite content to live without a primary
partner, but most of us choose to pursue intimate relationships for many
different reasons. A loving partner helps keep away the cold, not only by
warming the bed, but by supporting your dreams and listening to your fears.
Close companionship is the way of the world for the majority, but modern
society has made it an extremely complex process.

Tantric CelibacyTantric Celibacy: Going
All the Way With Tantric Celibacy
Tantric
yoga, as a system of rituals, exercises, and philosophical teachings, was
developed over the past 2,500 years in a practical search for profound feeling
and awareness. Just as a modern scientist might spend years on a single
research problem, tantric yogis might dwell on a certain feeling for hours a
day, plumbing its every nuance and what it told them about existence. They
became experts in the arts of feeling and concentration.

| | | | | Relationships: Why Wicca is Not Celtic PaganismWhy Wicca is Not Celtic Paganism
There are many out there who believe that Wicca and
its related forms of NeoPagism are a type of Celtic Paganism (and vice
versa), but this is simply not
true. The following article is meant to be a comparison of Wicca and Celtic
Paganism in order to demonstrate this, and to educate the public about Celtic
Paganism. While Wicca certainly contains elements of Celtic mythology, folk
magic and religious belief, its basic tenets and beliefs are radically
different from those of Celtic Pagans.

| | | | Relationships: Begin Your Day In a Prosperous Way"I
AM DESERVING OF ALL THAT IS GOOD" is a perfect affirmation to begin your
day in a prosperous way.
Let's
break down why these exact words have been chosen:
I
believe there is great power in the words "I AM." These words make a
situation or circumstance true for oneself, by claiming what it is you desire
as if it's already yours. "I am" is like a magic statement. It puts
the control and the power of what you wish to achieve right where it should be,
within yourself. It claims immediately for you what you desire. It makes
something YOURS.

| | | | Relationships: The Road To
Delusion We can be drawn into others people's consequences by giving
consent to their actions or by judging their behavior. The energy field that
links us together works on all levels, spiritual through physical. We
constantly put out energy for the approval or disapproval of our friends and
family. When energy in any form comes to you from another person, the judgment
you put on it ties you to it, regardless of type of judgment made.

| | | | Relationships: Creating Sacred Space In Your HomeCreating
Sacred Space In Your Home
Many
modern Celtic pagans today are faced with a difficult question: how can I bring
my religion into my home? Whether we live in a dormitory, an apartment, a
duplex or a mansion, most of us like to have our homes reflect our
personalities and the things we are interested in, and that includes our
spiritual practices, but many of us don't have back yards in which to practice
and set up more permanent shrines, or 24/7 access to our favorite places in nature.
For some, just setting up an altar somewhere in the home is either undesirable,
unachievable or just not enough.

| | | | Relationships: Celtic Marriage
Celtic
Marriage
This
article is not just for those interested in the traditions of Celtic Marriage,
it is also a look into the complex body of law that governed the ancient Celts.
For
the ancient Celts, marriage was a very different thing than what we conceive of
as "marriage" today. For them, marriage or handfasting as some know
it was a form of contract that had several purposes. These included the
protection of property rights, the care of progeny (children), and the rights
of the individuals involved in the relationships themselves.

| | | | Relationships: A Celebration of MAY DAYA
Celebration of MAY DAY
There
are four great festivals of the Pagan Celtic year and the modern Witch's
calendar as well. The two greatest of these are Halloween (the beginning of
winter) and May Day (the beginning of summer). Being opposite each other on the
wheel of the year, they separate the year into halves. Halloween (also called
Samhain) is the Celtic New Year and is generally considered the more important
of the two, though May Day runs a close second. Indeed, in some areas --
notably Wales -- it is considered the great holiday.
