- God
God Regardless of whether we believe in a God or not, all of us have been exposed to the idea of a supreme and omnipresent being. The dilemma over the existence of God is probably the most common dilemma of them all. Everyone from time to time will have a dream about "God." Its symbolism depends on the dreamer. God in our dreams can be considered a positive or self affirming symbol. It represents truth, purity, and love. It also represents the creative energy which is abundant in all of us (whether we know it or not). For a certain number of people, in the dream state, God may have negative connotations. For them God could represent eternal punishment, damnation, and invoke massive amount guilt. Most religions consider dreams to be a pathway to God or to the spiritual realm. Through dreams we have an opportunity to have experiences which are not available during the day. Our unconscious mind may be more capable of connecting to the eternal flow of spirit and it may be the dwelling place of the soul. See also: Meaning of Dreams about Jesus

| | | | | Punishment: Understanding
SufferingSuffering seems to be one of those fundamental
human experiences that we all have in common, and is perhaps the one we would
all gladly give up. We often feel oppressed and frustrated by suffering because
we do not understand it. It can pierce the heart of our being and our identity,
and shake every assumption we hold about ourselves and the world. It often
seems to destroy our will-power and overthrow our commitments, to our dismay.

| | | | Punishment: Compassion and Peace Go Hand in Hand
Buddhism advocates tolerance - to accept that there are differences in human experiences; that diversity is part of life, whether in experiences, cultural backgrounds or religions/faiths. Buddhism is the religion of compassion, mercy and forgiveness for all life forms. It does not preach the superiority of its belief systems over those of other religions, nor does it believe in any sort of hierarchical ordering of faith systems; it does not discriminate against anyone, least of all on account of faith or belief. The recognition and embracement of diversity and pluralism and the resulting absence of any coercive or violent means for proselytising is the very essence of the humanism of Buddhism.

| | | | Punishment: Parenting Indigo and Crystal Children: Parenting from the Heart
Parenting an Indigo or Crystal child is a special privilege in this time of turbulence and change. As a parent, you are contributing to etsablishing new patterns for parenting on the planet. You are partnering with your child in raising the resonance of the child/parent relationship to its highest possible level at this time. The Indigo or Crystal child has come to the planet with its own "mission". As an Indigo it is here to challenge exisiting forms and beliefs, and as a Crystal it is here to teach empowerment and love. You, as the parents, are the partners in this mission of teaching and healing. You can help your child to fulfill its mission by understanding what is required of you. As a parent to an Indigo, you can expect to be challenged at every turn, but having the skills to handle these challenges will create and easier relationship between you and your Indigo. As the parent of a Crystal, you will have to deal with a very strong will and frequent power struggles. Again, having the parenting skills to cope with these issues will facilitate the growth and unfolding of your child.

| | | | Punishment: Intuitive
Rightness - Science and Karma It is wise to bear in mind that in daily life, most
of our knowledge is not arrived at through analysis. It is thought by many that
the intuitive faculties of the human mind can draw on much more information
than we can access analytically, and certainly there are a lot of remarkable
anecdotes about the power of dreams and intuition in problem-solving. Thus, it
seems worthwhile to take a look at the intuitive appeal of karma.

| | | | | Punishment: Pranayama TechniquesPranayama
is defined as breath control, but actually, Prana is energy, the type of energy
that is received from Kether or from the spiritual world. It is sometimes
defined as a white light that emanates from on high or that is surrounding us
at all times. Call it what you like, it is possible to energize our
electrochemical bodies by controlled breathing, and the Pranayama methods are
highly effective in attaining specific energy states.

mankind, disobeys Zeus and steals fire from heaven and brings it down to earth

since mankind was not yet considered to be ready for this great gift of the
gods.

A
Christian Theological Dictionary on Condemnation
A
Christian theological definition of Condemnation according to CARM - The Christian
Apologetics & Research Ministry:
" Condemnation Declaring an evildoer to be guilty; the punishment inflicted. Without Jesus we stand condemned before God not only because of the sin of Adam (Rom. 5:16-18) but also because of our own sin (Matt. 12:37). However, "There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death" (Rom. 8:1-2). Christians have passed out of condemnation because they are forgiven in Christ. "

Holistic Health
Therapy Dictionary on
Behavior therapy & Behavior modification
BEHAVIOR THERAPY/MODIFICATION: aims at modifying behavior by reinforcing acceptable behavior and suppressing undesirable behavior. The therapist employs any of various techniques of reward and punishment including aversion therapy, desensitization, or guided imagery. The learning theory of the psychologist B.F. Skinner and others is the basis for most behavior therapies. In SkinnerŐs principle of extinction, a behavior pattern that is not reinforced, or rewarded, will be extinguished or rendered inoperative. For example, if smoking is made unpleasant for the smoker, then the smoking habit may be curbed or given up. Behavior therapy is used in private and institutional therapy, in group and individual settings, to treat such disorders as drug addiction, alcoholism, and phobias.

A
Christian Theological Dictionary on Mercy
A
Christian theological definition of Mercy according to CARM - The Christian
Apologetics & Research Ministry:
" Mercy Mercy is the act of not administering justice when that justice is punitive. Because of our sinfulness we deserve death and eternal separation from God (Rom. 6:23; Isaiah 59:2), but God provided an atonement for sin and through it shows us mercy. That is, He does not deliver to the Christian the natural consequence of his sin which is damnation. That is why Jesus became sin on our behalf (2 Cor. 5:21) and bore the punishment due to us (Isaiah 5345). It was to deliver us from damnation. (Compare with justice and grace.) God saved us according to His mercy (Titus 3:5) and we can practice mercy as a gift (Rom. 12:8). "Let us therefore draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help in time of need" (Heb. 4:16). "

| | | | Punishment: Alien-ated Youth - They're the next step in human evolution. But they're just like everybody else.
They go by many names, such as Star Kids, Indigos or Crystalline Children. Whatever they're called, believers say this group of prodigies started appearing about 30 years ago and may now make up as much as 90 percent of the population under ten. They also exhibit strange side effects, like a higher resistance to pollutants but an increased sensitivity to sugar and food additives. These are babies born with an inherent knowledge of art, language and spirituality, possessing an impressive wealth of wisdom. Some will even go so far as to say these kids are not only prime candidates for the gifted and talented program, but the next step in human evolution.

| | | | | Punishment: Price of Leadership: Emulation and Envy
Leadership is a powerful construct. A leader is envied for the position and authority he enjoys. He receives adulation and is celebrated as a champion and deliverer. Little wonder, then, a leader is often emulated; even envied. High and powerful positions are fervently sought out for all the promise they hold. And what can be more alluring than the highest post in the land? Even if Sonia Gandhi'sreasons for abjuring the high post are debatable, the very act of saying 'no"- to the most important and powerful job in the country - is something few would have the courage (of conviction) to carry out, and that too with the composure and determination that Sonia displayed.

Medieval Inquisition - Investigation.
When a papal inquisition arrived at a town it had a set of procedures and rules to identify likely heretics. First, the townspeople would be gathered in a public place. Although attendance was voluntary, those who failed to show would automatically be suspect, so most would come. The inquisitors would provide an opportunity for anyone to step forward and denounce themselves in ex ...
