The Concise Oxford Dictionary defines a psychic as "a person susceptible to psychic influence," and a clairvoyant as having a "faculty of perceiving, as if by seeing what's happening or exists out of sight; exceptional insight." These terms define the new type of clairvoyant emerging in almost every city, town or area around the world. No longer does the word "psychic" bring forth an image of an old woman in a long dress or robe, ribbons streaming from her hair, shaking a tambourine and saying, "Cross my palm with silver and I'll tell your fortune," or the guru sitting with legs crossed on a snow-capped mountain contemplating the meaning of life.

Psychic Force is a Playstation game created by Taito and released by Acclaim in 1996. The game was a 3D fighter which combined the normal features of an arcade fighting game with psychic powers. Developing Psychic Abilities

How does one determine if he has psychic abilities and what they may be? It's not easy! There are "gurus" under every rock, and it seems at times there are as many psychics as there are real estate agents. They offer all sorts of courses, seminars, workshops, tapes, etc., in "self-discovery" and psychic development. It can become very confusing and, if caution and good common sense are not liberally employed, a bit risky. I suggest that you follow your "gut feeling" in every case.

Psychics are not dealing with the "physical" universe as governed by known laws related to space and time, but are accessing non-physical information through non-physical senses. From a quantum physical perspective, there are no hard boundaries or limitations in the Universe, including those we generally perceive related to space and time. Our thoughts or conscious awareness can transcend the constructed "reality" of space/time in order to see into something at a "distance," or see into the future.
