How common are psychic dreams?

People probably have more psychic dreams than they realize, simply because they don’t pay attention or discuss them with others. Usually we hear about psychic dreams only when they’re dramatic and involve a distressing or tragic event or death. However, parapsychology studies show that precognitive information about future events is more likely to present itself to us in dreams than in any other fashion. Many people who pay attention to their dreams discover that they have “little” precognitive dreams often. These concern upcoming events, situations and encounters with people. Scientific research shows that information can be transmitted telepathically during dreaming, from a person who is awake to a person who is asleep.

psychic vampire

One whose body chemistry is capable of absorbing psychic energy from another person, deliberately or unknowingly

Magic:

(1) A general term for arts, sciences, philosophies and technologies concerned with (a) understanding and using various altered states of consciousness within which it is possible to have access to and control over one’s psychic talents, and (b) the uses and abuses of those psychic talents to change interior and/or exterior realities.

(2) A science and an art comprising a system of concepts and methods for the build-up of human emotions, altering the electrochemical balance of the metabolism, using associational techniques and devices to concentrate and focus this emotional energy, thus modulating the energies broadcast by the human body, usually to affect other energy patterns whether animate or inanimate, but occasionally to affect the personal energy pattern.

(3) A collection of rule-of-thumb techniques designed to get one’s psychic talents to do more or less what one wants, more often than not, one hopes. It should be obvious that these are thaumaturgical definitions.

psychic healing (psi healing, psychic therapy): Therapeutic technique that involves the channeling of psychic energy or spiritual power through the healer and into the patient. sources of such energy include oneself, God, and spirits. Common accompaniments to psychic healing include aura analysis, the laying on of hands, prayer, and massage.

The word psi refers to:

(a)   the ability to become directly (nonsensorially) aware of past, present, and/or future events outside the body;

(b)  psychokinesis; and

(c)   phenomena ascribed to such abilities.

Alchemy:

An ancient "psuedo-science" commonly recalled for experiments to transmute base metals into gold, the formulation of a universal cure to remedy all known diseases, the indefinite extension of life through chemical and magical means, and the production of artificial life forms in a laboratory setting.

Richly illustrated in symbolism and steeped in arcane traditions, the practice of alchemy eventually led to the formation of accepted sciences such as chemistry. Today, sometimes regarded as a symbolic philosophy for the evolution of the human spirit from 'base man' to 'enlightened man' through the use of alchemical symbolism and imagery.

The temple's psychic atmosphere is maintained through regular worship ceremonies (puja) invoking the Deity, who uses His installed image (murti) as a temporary body to bless those living on the earth plane.
