Intuition and Psychic Energy: Where Do They Come From?

It is easier to train your senses to notice your intuitive impulses if you have an understanding of where those intuitive flashes originate. In every psychic development class I teach, I ask the students where they think psychic or intuitive feelings and impulses begin. Some answer, "from my subconscious mind." Others say, "from my Higher Self." Some believe, "it's dead people talking to you," or "your guides."

 Soul loss is a spiritual illness that causes emotional and physical disease. We all spend a tremendous amount of psychic energy looking for lost parts of ourselves. We do this unconsciously, and we do this in many ways: generating dreams and daydreams, experimenting with numerous spiritual paths and creating relationships that mirror back to us our missing parts, to name but a few. Many of us today don't feel totally whole, don't feel as if we are all here. Few of us live as fully as we could.

Developing Psychic Abilities

How does one determine if he has psychic abilities and what they may be? It's not easy! There are "gurus" under every rock, and it seems at times there are as many psychics as there are real estate agents. They offer all sorts of courses, seminars, workshops, tapes, etc., in "self-discovery" and psychic development. It can become very confusing and, if caution and good common sense are not liberally employed, a bit risky. I suggest that you follow your "gut feeling" in every case.

The term spirit is very difficult to comprehend because it carries many different and often conflicting connotations. For the purpose of this writing, a spirit is a self-aware being, good or evil, which lacks a physical body. The premise upon which most spiritual theory is based suggests that there are two general elements in the universe - the intelligent element and the material element, and that spirits are the individualization of the intelligent element and bodies are the individualization of the material element.

A different approach is called for if you're trying to record ghosts as opposed to spirits. Here, a ghost would be some kind of paranormal activity that is obvious and external to the observer. If you live in a house where strange things are always happening, or you know of a local house or area that is reputed to be haunted, you might take your tape recorder, camera or camcorder and set it up when you expect strange things to occur.

 A widely held misconception regarding poltergeists is that the terms poltergeist and ghost are synonymous. Although there is some similarity between the two, there are several characteristics that set them apart. For example, poltergeist activity is known as a "disturbance," whereas ghost-like activity (fog, mist, transparent figures, etc.) is known as a "haunting." The reason for this difference in terminology is because poltergeists are heard but not seen, whereas ghosts are seen but seldom heard.

In a healthy body, each layer of the aura is brightly colored, vibrant, full of energy, and flowing. When one's energy becomes imbalanced, stagnant, or blocked, the aura can have the appearance of being discolored, ripped, torn, or dented. The chakras in a healthy body should also appear clear, vibrant, and full of energy. They should be round in appearance and rotating in a clockwise direction. When afflicted, the chakras can appear cracked, deformed, or out of alignment with each other. If there is an imbalance in one of the layers of the aura or one of the chakras, it can have a direct effect of the information processed.

The first usually spontaneous out of body experiences are impressive, verifying from a practical point of view the existence of a soul. Such experience provides the feeling of being independent of the physical body, of existing without and outside the physical body. Electronic Voice Phenomena

Juergenson was a film producer in Sweden who, in 1959 while making a documentary, had decided to tape bird songs. As he began recording, little did he realize that what was to follow would change the course of not only his earthly life but of that he would lead in the world beyond after his death. When he played the tape back he was startled to hear, in among the tweeting and chirping, his mother's voice say in German, "Friedrich, you are being watched. As souls we have agendas related to our growth and learning.
