Vocalist Phil Mogg, guitarist Mick Bolton, bassist Pete Way and drummer Andy Parker formed the band UFO in 1969. Members of the band At the Drive-In, Cedric Bixler-Zavala and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, were in DeFacto with audio technician Jeremy Michael Ward since the mid 1990's.
