* MysticismMagick Dictionaryon SCRYING

SCRYING
(Or crystal gazing.) The trick is to learn first how to clear the crystal. What is needed is a blank screen (indeed an empty wall serves equally well). Shutting the eyes in hope of stirring up images can also be useful, if the practitioner can keep from falling asleep. A crystal ball is better only because it strongly stimulates the image-making faculty without eliciting soporific side-effects. Images so produced can be written down or recorded on tape for subsequent interpretation by the intuition. The serious practitioner should keep a record of recurrent common images and their occult meanings for him (e.g., a mountain might be a "challenge," a tree could be "health", a lion is "friendship, etc.). Then, when these images appear in the crystal ball, their condition can provide him with detailed information: a snow- covered mountain would be a worthwhile challenge, a rugged mountain would be a difficult challenge, etc.

* Pagan Denominations Dictionary on DIANIC WICCA

DIANIC WICCA: First pinpointed by Margaret Murray in 1921 in "The Witch-Cult in Western Europe," this term appears to include a mixture of various traditions. However, their prime focus in recent years is on the Goddess, and has been pegged as the "feminist" movement of the Craft.

Dianic Feminist Wicce is a tradition started by Ann Forfreedom that is both religious and practices magick. It includes both female and male practitioners ("It is not lesbian oriented and not separatist" states Ann), solo practitioners, mixed covens and all female covens. "Dianic Feminist Wicce encourages female leadership, insists that a Priestess must be present for a Circle ritual to be held and involves its practitioners in feminist and humanist issues." Groups work either skyclad or robed.

* Pagan Denominations Dictionary on KITCHEN WITCHCRAFT

KITCHEN WITCHCRAFT: A tradition of Witchcraft with an emphasis on the practical side of religion, magick, the Earth, and elements.  Much of the tradition is very similar to Stregheria (Strega) and practitioners work out of hearth and home, using only what they would have on hand for daily routines to perform rituals and spells. The home is sacred to a Kitchen Witch and cooking and herb magick play a fundamental part in their practice. Kitchen Witchery is a way of including Witchcraft beliefs into everyday life.

It’s just important that he understands the significance of holistic treatment in his or her discipline and that s/he is a qualified practitioner.

What Exactly Does A Reiki Practitioner Do

Reiki Precepts - The Foundation Of The System Of Reiki

Precepts have been used as guidelines for conduct for centuries in many spiritual and religious practices. The popularity of affirmations should not cloud the benefits or strengths of working with precepts. So, now that you know what a precept is, let's look at their usage.
