Dictionary on Yantra
Yantra:
Mechanistic patterns, designs and symbols which represent someone or something. Yantra refers to mechanistic science. Yantra has become known as the symbology for various divine realities through mystical patterns, which are drawn on the ground, on paper, etched in copper or drawn on computer screens, etc. For example, the Star of David is a component in many yantras, as is the swastika. Both of these are ancient vedic symbols.

Dictionary on Afrit
Afrit:
In Arabian traditions, an afrit is the spirit of a murder victim which rises to avenge the crime. Traditions hold that the spirit rises from the slain person's body in the form of 'smoke rising from a fire'. The spirit form is malevolent and their activities are regarded as quite terrifying in nature. The time honored tradition of removing these violent spirits is to drive an iron nail into the ground in the location the murder was committed. See also "nailing down the ghost".

Dictionary on Automatic Writing
Automatic Writing:
Alleged form of spirit communications in which a "medium" or channeler places a writing instrument upon a blank sheet of paper and allows messages from the spirit world to be written. Characteristically, the writer enters an "altered state of consciousness" and is unaware of the words being written, which may or may not be in their own handwriting. Skeptics feel that the practice is a manifestation of the channeler's subconscious or own unconscious "ESP" abilities.

Dictionary on Brahma
Brahma:
The name of the highest demigod in this creation. He is born on a lotus flower, which sprouts from the navel of Lord Vishnu. He has four heads. During his day, the creation exists, and during his night it is absorbed within him. His day lasts for 1,000 chatur yugas, or 1,000 cycles of four periods: Satya yuga, Treta yuga, Dvapara yuga and Kali yuga. As a demigod, he rules over some of the nakshatras as well as some of the shastiamshas used in vedic astrology. He is beholden only to Vishnu, Sada Shiva and Krishna. All other demigods in this creation are under Brahma, including such great personalities and demigods as Indra, Agni, Surya, Chandra, etc. The incarnations of the lord who appear on earth of his own sweet will are above Brahma. This includes Shri Krishna, Shri Ramachandra, Shri Narasimha, and Shri Chaitanya to name a few.

Dictionary on Kali
Kali:
Kali is one of the female manifestations of God. She represents the power of time. Her physical appearance is most fearsome and symbolizes her boundless power of destruction. She takes away from us everything that is transitory. As long as we regard what is transitory as all there is, we are of course terrified at this prospect. Nonetheless She protects those who are devoted to Her, and through Her grace they pass from the realm of time to the realm of timelessness. Note that Ramakrishna uses the terms Kali and Shakti more or less interchangeably.
