ELEMENTS - 1.the four alchemical elements once thought to make up the entire universe. These are Earth, Air, Fire and Water plus the fifth element of pure spirit in, of, and outside them all. The primary purpose of shamanism is the healing of body and mind, but it is also used for divination and to ensure prosperity for communities. Shamanism is found in some form in every culture in the world.
