In 2005, it was revealed that house prices in Omagh (along with South County Tyrone and Fermanagh) had risen by 38% (on average) since 2004. This brings the average house price in these areas to £161,496 (€237,339.91 or $280,040.50). This makes the house prices in these areas the second most expensive (on average) in Northern Ireland - the North Coast (Coleraine/Limavady) was the most expensive at £170,191 on average.
