Everything in our universe at its essence is comprised of an electro-magnetic vibration: sky, tree, table, computer, moon and you. Scientists will verify that we are vibrational creatures living in a vibrational universe. As we become more aware of how we interact with and shape the other vibrations around us, we will begin to see how we create the events in our lives. I believe that understanding how to work with the vibrations that make up our world is one of the major reasons we're here. Read more here: » Metaphysics: How We Get What We Get |

| | | | Metaphysical: Listen to the voice within Every soul that is currently experiencing life on any level begins and ends as a whole. Our essence - the very core of our spiritual being - remains One with God. We always have been, and always will be, a part of Ôthe whole' that is the God- consciousness level. Our soul essence, which began as whole, remains whole throughout the soul growth process, and will still be whole when the growth process has been completed and we no longer leave the whole to pursue our own life studies. It is not that we, as spiritual beings in physical form, must learn something new in order to become whole, regardless of what aspect of our growth we may be working on. It is not that we need to make a 360 degree change in direction from the way we are living our lives now. | | | | Metaphysical: Havan and Yagya: Procedure for purification Havan is a procedure of eradicating inner imperfections prevalent in our being. This procedure has all the healing techniques incorporated in it beautifully. It is a rare combination of accupressure, touch healing, meditation, psychiatry, knowledge and wisdom. It is a perfect amalgamation of thought and procedure. ÔTruth always conquers.' Truth is being one on three planes of thought, word and deed. To understand truth, to be truthful, and to become a reflection of truth, havan is a vedic procedure. It is a step towards a completely healthy body, mind and soul. In reality it is the only way to cleanse the body, mind and soul to ignite soul power. | | | | | | | Metaphysical: Encyclopedia - Universal metaphysicsUniversals (used as a noun) are either properties, relations, or types. However, classes are not usually considered to be universals; however, some prominent philosophers, such as John Bigelow, do think that classes are universals. It is worth noting that all four items are generally considered abstract, nonphysical entities. They are at least so considered by Platonic realists; there are others who use the terminology of properties, relations, etc., but who do not wish to be realists. Part of the difficulty, inde ...

A
Christian Theological Dictionary on Metaphysics A Christian theological definition of Metaphysics according to CARM - The Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry: " Metaphysics The branch of philosophy involved with examining and discussing the ultimate nature of reality. The term comes from "meta" which means "after" and "phusika" which means "physics." Around A.D. 70 Andronicus applied to the section of Aristotelian writings that came after the physics section; hence, metaphysics. In the New Age, metaphysics deals with spiritual concepts such as reincarnation, auras, chakras, Ascended Masters, etc. and other such ideas of a spiritual nature not generally associated with Christianity. | | | | Metaphysical: Encyclopedia II - Metaphysics - The origin of the word 'metaphysics'The ancient Greek philosopher Aristotle produced a number of works which together were called the Physics. In an early edition, the works of Aristotle were organized in such a way that another set of works was placed right after the Physics. These books seemed to concern a basic, fundamental area of philosophical inquiry, which at the time did not have a name; Aristotle himself just called it "first philosophy". So early Aristotelian scholars called those books τὰ μετὰ τὰ φυσικά βιβλια, "ta meta ta physik ...

| | | | Metaphysical: Encyclopedia II - Metaphysics - ExamplesIt is sometimes difficult to understand what the issues even are in metaphysics. It might help to begin with a fairly simple example that will help to introduce the problems of metaphysics.
Imagine now that we are in a room, and in the middle of the room there is a table, and in the middle of the table there is a big, fresh, juicy, red apple. We can ask many metaphysical questions about this apple. This will, hopefully, help u ...

| | | | Metaphysical: Encyclopedia II - Metaphysics - CriticismMetaphysics has been attacked, at different times in history, as being futile and overly vague. Lord Byron often mocked the subject in his works. David Hume and Immanuel Kant both prescribed a limited role to the subject and argued against knowledge progressing beyond the world of our representations (except, in the case of Kant, to knowledge that the noumena exist). A.J. Ayer is famous for leading a "revolt against metaphysics", where he claimed that its propositions were meaningless. Martin Heidegger often criticised metaphysics, ye ...
