 | | | Medicine Person: It All Makes Scents A study at The Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton, England, demonstrated the health benefits of Aromatherapy through the practice of aromamassage. Thirty-six patients in the ICU and CCU were given massages, some with aroma oils and others without. The results showed a 91% reduction in heart rate for the group treated to aromamassage, a 51% reduction in the other massage group receiving unscented oils, and only 41% in the control group which received "standard care" treatments. Dealing With Negative Ego Neighbors And PeopleThe focus of this article is how to effectively deal with people and neighbors who are dominated by the negative ego. To begin, it must be understood that when life is looked at from the perspective of the soul, everything is seen as a lesson, challenge and spiritual test. Every interaction is seen as an opportunity to respond from a Christ Consciousness attitude rather then a negative ego attitude, to respond from unconditional love, rather than fear and attack, to choose oneness with God rather than separation from God, to choose forgiveness instead of grudges. | | | Medicine Person: Short introduction to Curative HypnotherapyCurative Hypnotherapy seeks to cure at a deeper level of consciousness, bringing about physical, emotional or mental changes, using the natural state of hypnosis to harness the power of the mind within us. Hypnosis facilitates an increased ability to produce desirable changes in habit patterns, self-image, lifestyle and personal health, because of greater receptivity to suggestions, questioning, and imagery. Hypnotherapy will literally change your life, quickly healing and changing unwanted patterns as hypnosis dramatically speeds up the process giving results in a few sessions as opposed to conventional Counselling, Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psycho-Analysis which can take many months to years to gain similar results. | | | Medicine Person: Body-Mind Integration in the Personal Growth ProcessBody-Mind Integration in the Personal Growth Process Does the matter mind? I mean, does the mind matter? That is, what's the matter with the "mind over matter" attitude, and what's the matter if matter (the body) doesn't mind? Okay, I'll put the questions a little less pun-like and paradoxical. How often does it seem that our body is just something for our mind to use to achieve certain ends? And from the way the body minds at times, do we too often lack confidence that it's really going to cooperate with our plans? Or, even though we may try to "listen to our body," does it still surprise us when the massage therapist finds knots, "rubber bands," and sticky layers of achiness in areas we thought minded us the most? At the end of the Sung Dynasty a Taoist by the name of Cheung San Fung, in order to find one suitable martial art for the Taoist, often observed the habits of long- lived animals such as turtles and cranes. After many years of study, he, at last, created Tai Chi Chuan. Read more here: » Tai Chi Chuan: The History Application of Tai |
