Judgment Dictionary: A Christian Theological Dictionary on Judgment

A Christian theological definition of Judgment according to CARM - The Christian Apologetics & Research Ministry:

"

Judgment: Condemnation.

There are several judgments: the judgment of the believer's sins (John 5:24), the judgment of the believer's self (1 Cor. 11:31-32), the judgment of the believer's works (2 Cor. 5:10), the judgment of the nations (Matt. 25:31-46), and the judgment of the wicked (Rev. 20:11-15).

There is no judgment for the Christian in respect to salvation (Rom. 8:1). We were judged in Christ on the cross 2000 years ago. However, as Christians we will be judged according to our works (2 Cor. 5:10) with, most probably, varying degrees of rewards. But, remember, the judgment of our works does not affect our salvation.

Judgment Dictionary: Spiritual dreams - The sign of a new dawning?

Nowadays, my mailbag produces an ever increasing number of dreams which, when analysed, are spiritual or contain elements of spirituality - but why, and do these same dreams provide clues? Much can be learned from dreams, and I believe that they are screaming out at us some answers to these questions. Interestingly, this increase coincides with the general trend pervading modern society of the population apparently splitting into categories, which are becoming ever more entrenched in their own respective beliefs.Perhaps the interactive virtual reality programmes of this life have begun to run their course. Could it be that the increasing numbers of these dreams are just the early signs which do precede a new dawning of an age of spiritual awareness?

There is a prophetic timeline encoded within the measurements of the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is derived from its geometrical features. When retro-viewed, the dates indicated by this timeline and geometry appear to correlate with significant historical events.

Judgment Dictionary: Being Sensitive In An Insensitive World

Highly sensitive persons

All your life you thought something was wrong with you. You were uncomfortable around noise. No one understood your need to be alone. You seemed to know things without being told. The good news is that you are not dysfunctional. You are a highly sensitive person (HSP). You are not the only one; you share this trait with at least 20% of the population who are referred to as shy or touchy.

Judgment Dictionary: Loving Ourselves

Most of us on our healing path have become very familiar with the admonition to "love ourselves." We may be clear that our purpose is to bring more love into the world. Since how we perceive and relate to "the world" is always a mirror of how we perceive and relate to ourselves, our goal is really to bring more love into ourselves. It is important to understand that, in terms of cause and effect, the external world is a reflection (or an "effect") of our "internal world: (our self), which is the opposite of how we naturally perceive things to be.

Judgment Dictionary: Preface to Kundalini Yoga by Sri Swami Sivananda

O Divine Mother Kundalini, the Divine Cosmic Energy that is hidden in men! Thou art Kali, Durga, Adisakti, Rajarajeswari, Tripurasundari, Maha-Lakshmi, Maha-Sarasvati! Thou hast put on all these names and forms. Thou hast manifested as Prana, electricity, force, magnetism, cohesion, gravitation in this universe. This whole universe rests in Thy bosom. Crores of salutations unto thee. O Mother of this world! Lead me on to open the Sushumna Nadi and take Thee along the Chakras to Sahasrara Chakra and to merge myself in Thee and Thy consort, Lord Siva.

Judgment Dictionary: Patanjali’s Guide To Self-Evolution

Patanjali’s Yoga Sutra forms the basis of all yoga that is practised today. It contains knowledge which is useful for all, whether one is an evolved yogi, a developing sadhaka or an uninitiate.

In the Astanga Yoga, the eight constituents of yoga are discussed. Of these, the first constituent talks of the five Yama. These are the restraints every human being is advised to practise in day-to-day living.

Judgment Dictionary: Self-Reference - Knowing ourselves is knowing our relationship

An aspect of knowing ourselves is knowing our relationship to other people. We have been raised in a society where what other people think has been made very important to us. This is a good thing to a point. As long as we remain asleep to the potential lying dormant within us and continue to live in illusion, the control mass consciousness exerts is essential to maintaining order. However, when individuals arrive at the point of awakening, one of the first things they have to do is to begin listening to their inner guidance. This often means breaking the bonds of social convention.

Judgment Dictionary: Healing the Shadow and the Mirror of Relationship

Whatever else you say about emotions and feelings, you have to admit that you just "wouldn't be your self" (little 's') without your own, familiar feelings. That's why we think we're going crazy or becoming "possessed" when unfamiliar or "out of character" emotions or reactions show up in our lives. However, there is another, more positive way to look at these disturbing occurrences. Remember that anything that feels like it isn't "you" must be a part of your shadow, and when parts of your shadow start to show up in your "self's" experience, this is HEALING.

Judgment Dictionary: Healer, Heal Thy Self

Many healing practitioners have shared with me their bewilderment over assuming illnesses or conditions from their clients, especially when they truly felt that their intentions were of loving service to another. Why would a healer or anyone become ill through healing others?

Judgment Dictionary: Effect of Thought on Circumstances

A man's mind may be likened to a garden, which may be intelligently cultivated or allowed to run wild. Whether cultivated or neglected, it must and will bring forth. If no useful seeds are put into it, then an abundance of useless weed seeds will fall therein, and will continue to produce their kind.

Judgment Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Bureaucracy - Max Weber on bureaucracy

Max Weber has probably been one of the most influential users of the word in its social science sense. He is well-known for his study of bureaucratization of society; many aspects of modern public administration go back to him; a classic, hierarchically organized civil service of the continental type is—if basically mistakenly—called "Weberian civil service". However, contrary to popular belief, "bureaucracy" was an English word before Weber; the Oxford English Dictionary cites usage in several different years between 1818 ...

Judgment Dictionary: Encyclopedia II - Banu Qurayza - Hadith

The principal hadith in the two most widely accepted Sunni hadith collections, Sahih Bukhari and Sahih Muslim, with relevance to the Banu Qurayza are the following: Muslim Book 026, Number 5557 (abridged; remainder describes when not to kill snakes and jinn): Abu as-Sa'ib, the freed slaved of Hisham b. Zuhra, said that he visited Abu Sa'id Khudri in his house, (and he further) said: [...] He said: There was a young man amongst us who had been newly wedded. We went with Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) (to ...

Judgment Dictionary: Breaking Past Life Vows and Pacts

Breaking Past Life Vows and Pacts

Many of us have had past lives in monastic environments, religious orders, secret sects and so on. Some of us will have made strong vows in the name of God with much emotion and determination, believing that they were right, and perhaps they were for us at that time. A vow made with strong intent carries over into other lifetimes unless a time limit is specified, which is usually not the case. We may have made vows of chastity, celibacy, poverty, silence, suffering, cleanliness, purity, everlasting love or of vengeance against someone who hurt or tricked us. All these prior vows are limitations that can constrict our souls and restrict our freedom.

Judgment Dictionary: Psychic Perception, Spiritual Insight, and Inspiration

Above the rational mind and below the soul realm is an intermediary plane of consciousness that I call the intuitional. It is very difficult to characterize this realm, because it transcends mental concepts but is still not a realm of being like the soul. The intuitional plane is the "highest" or most subtle and universal part of the created worlds. Although God and souls are the truly creative agents of the universe, we could say that the process of creating begins with the intuition and then moves to concepts, feeling responses, images and shapes, and finally physical manifestation. Thus intuition is a key to initiating creativity.

Judgment Dictionary: Opportunities for transformation

Did you ever see something go wrong around you and suddenly burst out, How on Earth did I create that? Really, how can bad things happen, even to the sweetest, kindest, most spiritual people on the planet? Where's the fairness in that?

The root of the question lies partly in the fact that we live in a state of polarity consciousness. This is a point of view where life is seen as a contrast between opposing forces, and that events are either good or bad.

Good or bad is a judgment issue. Judgment belongs within the frequency band of basic, physical consciousness. Yes, in physical consciousness, bad things do exist, and they appear that way because they're designed to.
