Erlanger Hospital is the area's primary trauma center. Erlanger has been operated by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Hospital Authority since 1976. Erlanger Hospital also maintains satellite locations in Red Bank and East Brainerd. Erlanger is also affiliated with T.C. Thompson Children's Hospital.
