Affirmation is only the first step to self-healing. We must do our human part. Without additional power from God, however, our efforts are forever incomplete. Affirmation, in other words, should end with prayer.

Why should one pray only after repeating the affirmations? Why not before? Prayer is always good, certainly. But if it isn't uttered with an affirmative consciousness, it can easily become weak and beggarly: a plea that God do all the work, without man's active participation. Effective prayer is never passive. It is full of faith. It matures in an attitude of affirmation.

Human beings are visual creatures. Our imaginations are powerful tools that can bring us to the brink of despair or create a wonderful new reality. This is because our subconscious responds to images whether they are real or imagined.

We all use visualization in our daily lives. When we read, our mind automatically translates the words into images of people and places. When we think of someone, we "see" his or her face. We also visualize every time we are afraid. We play worst-case scenarios in our minds like a reel of film. The more we play the film, the larger our fear becomes.

Are there any laws governing the Universe?

Yes, but not in the sense that a lawmaker has devised a law. Laws exist which are natural laws, similar to the Laws of Physics that your scientists recognise. The primary law is the Law of Love; all things exist within this law and are created out of it. Love is the total and complete acceptance of what is. Love allows. Love is about allowing yourself to be who and what you are and allowing that same right to all others.

Without the Law of Love, free will could not exist, for free will is free will.

The Universal Law of Attraction states: We attract whatever we choose to give our attention to--whether wanted or unwanted.

This Law is Universal because it does not matter who you are, where you live, what your religious beliefs are, what year you were born...the Law is true for everyone equally. It is as true as the Law of Gravity.

inner self healing process: System developed by American-born clinical psychologist and author Swami Ajaya, Ph.D.

Its theory posits an authentic (essential, inner, true) self and a false self. , the inner self is an active inner presence, a radiant essence, core energy, the source of abundance, joy, unconditional love, vitality, and wisdom. The false self is a false image resulting from the world's shabby treatment of everyone.

The inner self healing process enables one to rediscover, come home to, and begin to live from one's true self. It involves experiential psychotherapy, complete self attunement, and meditation. Through attunement sessions, one receives the healing light of one's inner self.
