Indigo Children - Indigo Child - Crystal Children
In the spiritual community, there are many who anticipate the Emergence of a Golden Age to come. An important part of this awakening that is occuring is the coming of Children with an awakened Consciousness. These childrens have been called the Indigo children.
Are the Indigo children, (variously called the Indigo children, Crystal Children, the Children of Oz) the ones who will launch humanity into a new era of consciousness, laying the groundwork for the emergence of a Golden Age?
"The Indigo Child is a boy or girl who displays a new and unusual set of psychological attributes, revealing a pattern of behavior generally undocumented before. This pattern has singularly unique factors that call for parents and teachers to change their treatment and upbringing of these kids to assist them in achieving balance and harmony in their lives, and to help them avoid frustration."

In an epic poem, Savitri, the late master Sri Aurobindo of India vividly describes a coming new race of humanity emerging on Earth.
Was he reffering to the Indigo Childrens?
"I saw them cross the twilight of an age,
The sun-eyed children of a marvelous dawn,
Great creators with wide brows of calm,
The massive barrier-breakers of the world,
Laborers in the quarries of the gods
The architects of immortality."
"One of the most amazing attributes of the new age is going to come right out the cribs of thousands of homes all over the world. The new children of the "indigo" color have arrived in mass and are already among us. Sometimes I think this is what has been predicted as "the mass landing"! Lightworkers everywhere are feeling confused and disconnected. In these times we are moving rapidly from one vibrational level to the next. The Group says that we humans do not take the steady escalator in our quest to move to higher vibrations. Rather, we can't wait to jump on the express elevator shooting up hundreds of floors in seconds. Then we try to figure out why we can't walk when the doors of the elevator open. To us it feels as if we are temporarily disconnected and have lost our way. Something is happening here that needs to be addressed and the Group wanted me to drop what I was doing and put this out now. They want to talk about integration of Spirit of Planet Earth.
Psychic and intuitive perception (what most people refer to as their “gut feeling”) is god given and natural to us when we are born. But what happens to these abilities as humans grow and develop? Children are generally taught to use them only in their most basic form and psychic abilities are often seen as superstition, imagination and other worldly experiences. How can we as parents support our children in awakening these innate abilities?
The terms, "Indigo" and
"Crystal" were given to two generations of children, because they
most accurately describe their aura colors and energy patterns. Indigo Children
have a lot of indigo blue in their auras. This is the color of the "third
eye chakra," which is an energy center inside the head located between the
two eyebrows. This chakra regulates clairvoyance, or the ability to see energy,
visions, and spirits.
Many of the
Indigo Children are clairvoyant The Crystal Children have opalescent auras,
with beautiful multi-colors in pastel hues. This generation also shows a
fascination for crystals and rocks, as you'll read in this book.
Spiritual Parenting is a topic relevant to all parents and all who are in contact with children in any way. The following article is a summary of the speach about Shristhi - the Art of Parenting that was delievered by Radhika Dasaji of the Golden Age Foundation at the Oneness Festival, 16-22 of February 2004.
Is education simply the process of stuffing things into our brains ... or is
true learning the natural ability to KNOW anything and everything at any
moment in time? Our new kids KNOW. They live within a framework of
connectedness to a vast, living intelligence that's in the very air around
us.
I have a seven-year-old Indigo son. I've been working as a teacher's aide in his classrooms through preschool, kindergarten, and now first grade, and I've observed his interactions with Indigos and non-Indigos of all ages. It's been interesting! In fact, trying to put it all down in writing has been a challenge because the children do so many subtle things.
Indigos process their emotions differently than non Indigos because they have high self-esteem and strong integrity. They can read you like an open book and quickly notice and neutralize any hidden agendas or attempts to manipulate them, however subtly. In fact, they can see your hidden agendas even if you can't! They have inherently strong determination to work things through for themselves and only want outside guidance if it's presented to them with respect and within a format of true choice. They prefer to work situations out for themselves.

There are many children being born now, not just the Indigos. There are warrior children being born also who have a red valance about their spirits. These are those I have spoken of before. They are not bad, but are here to destroy the old system in a radical way. It is a possible path for humans to travel. Many who have seen images of the police state in the future have seen these children grown and fulfilling their destiny. The fact that many Indigos are being born shows that there is acceptance and growth of a higher way. Again, watch the media. The influence that comes with this wave of beings coming in to earth can be seen in many films being produced. The Star Wars film, the Phantom Menace showed the potential of the Indigo child. The more you open your heart to the higher possibilities, the more you bring them to pass.

When I was young I read books and saw television shows based upon the lives of famous people. Even as a young child, I saw the paradoxes. One person makes a global success out of meager beginnings while another squanders a fortune in reputation as well as money. I wondered why. Is it fate or luck that determines success? Is it predestination or windfall that determines a well-lived life?

I have taught many parents how to interpret their children's dreams. Knowing the language of mind gives you an invaluable window into your child's consciousness. When Briana was eleven I asked her parents, who are both dream interpreters, how often she remembered her dreams. Her mother, Teresa, said she remembered about four every week. Teresa also thought Bri had an idea of what her dreams meant. I encouraged her to listen to Briana's ideas and build upon them. When Teresa said sometimes it was like "pulling teeth to get her to express her thoughts," I suggested she encourage Bri to draw or even act out her dreams.

What does it mean to be Indigo? It means we are here to initiate the changes - mentally, emotionally, physically, and most importantly spiritually - that will stimulate humanity's evolution past this point of polarity, of war and peace, conflict and resolve, happiness and sadness, etc. Indigos are connected, with one another, with you and I, with the Source. They don't have to be told to be compassionate, it is already part of their nature.

Karen, was behaving strangely. Her grades were declining rapidly and Karen refused to do her work. There were inconsistencies in her learning behavior. She would learn very rapidly and then shut down; she was restless and unable to focus. After describing her behavior to a counselor, it was suspected that she may have ADD/ADHD and that she needed testing. Karen's mother had reached a point of despair and hopelessness.

When Ki turned seven I knew it was time to organize my thoughts so I could give guidance and a sense of mental structure to his learning. Seven was when the ancient Greeks began to school their boys. Seven was when youth were admitted into monasteries. If it seems like a magical number, it is. The physical world is based upon cycles of seven. For a newly incarned soul, this means the first seven years of life the child is using the body constructed for him or her primarily by the genetics of both parents and the thoughts of the pregnant mother.

I have been asked by Archangel Michael to write this article in order to help the many people who undergo the experience of a rapid shift into multi-dimensional awareness, or, the shift from the Indigo state to the Crystal state of consciousness.
There are people who make the transition in a relatively gentle way, but there are many who experience a crisis when this happens. These are usually the people who have chosen to open up to the higher dimensions. This choice is not made logically by the rational mind, but is rather a soul choice made in response to the available transitional energies of the Earth herself. So, sometimes a person is thrust into psychological, emotional and bodily changes for which they can find no logical explanation. This can cause a crisis. My experience has been that orthodox doctors and psychologists are of very little help as they have no idea of what the person is experiencing. When tests come back negative, the person is often considered to be hysterical or ungrounded or even schizophrenic.

In this message I wish to speak to you of what are called the Indigo children. They ride the Indigo Ray and have a specific purpose on Earth. They are here to change the world and they will do whatever it takes, including sacrificing themselves in the process when necessary. It is their mission and one which they have wholeheartedly accepted. To this point I would remind you that they know that the earth plane is a plane of illusion. They know they live beyond the physical body they currently inhabit. At other levels of your beingness you are also well aware of this fact. You were required to forget this when you took your embodiment but in your own wake-up process you shall remember.

Indigo Children are the next wave of teachers for the planet. They are very evolved beings of light who have come in joyful service to humanity. They are your future. They will lead you into the beautiful new world that awaits you, if you will but allow them to help you. Do not force them into the old molds for they do not fit there. They have arrived with new higher level imprints for humanity encoded within their beingness. These children have never had incarnations on this planet. In fact, they have never had physical incarnations anywhere before. This is an entirely new experience for them. They are coming from the 6th dimension and they are bringing great spiritual wisdom with them.

This means that when THE INDIGO EVOLUTION documentary is released this January, the world will be ready to finally respond to the messages as well as the needs of the New Children. The success of the World Premier test-screening of the film in Phoenix earlier this week has set the stage for major impact. Thanks to everyone who has supported this movement and the Children themselves. It looks as if all our effort is about to pay off, for the Children and for humanity itself.

Since he was born I have endeavored to faithfully record significant passages in Hezekiah's life. So far I have filled two notebook size journals with his life experiences and began a separate dream journal when he turned seven. I see this as part of the duty of being a parent. We are witness to the first steps the soul takes on the journey in this world.
