Indigo Child: The Indigo and Octarine Relationship With God

Religion and religious expression is an interesting and often frustrating facet of the life of the Awakened Indigo and Octarine transitional. Quite often, if an Indigo is the member of a particular faith group, they will find one reason or another for separating from it as they mature and find their Gifts.

If the Indigo is a member of a particularly controlling church that requires lots of participation outside of the Sunday service, they will experience growing dissatisfaction with the basic operation and structure of the group, and may separate from it in a manner that is less than cordial.

Indigo Child: Indigo Passages and Purposes

The Indigo life is no bed of roses. If you have read some of the particular traits of Indigo people, you have learned that we have quite a bit stacked against us in our early lives.

In fact, we are classic late bloomers, and because of this, Indigo youth have a very high amount of difficulty assimilating into the mainstream. This is mostly because the mainstream caters to the average mind and intellect, and most Indigos are far from average. This can result in the flaring of depression, and also the abuse of alcohol and drugs. Sometimes it leads to suicide.

Misdiagnosis of ADD and other 'new age' illnesses add to the confusion, and the youngster is often drugged into submission at a point of life where they need to develop their minds the most.

Indigo Child: The Unveiling: Adult Transition from Indigo to Octarine/Crystal

It starts with a vague feeling of something not quite being 'right'. Sounds are harsher on the ears, you find yourself avoiding your once-beloved candle shop because the scents are so over powering. The mall, once a wonderful Temple of Temptations, has become the ninth circle of hell, as have many other public venues. Noise and crowds now drive you away, rather than excite and attract you. Your 'been-there, done-that' passport is completely filled, and nothing really thrills you any more. It's mindless kiddie stuff now.

Indigo Child: Parenting Indigos -   Some advice on parenting Indigo Children:

Even Indigos have to be disciplined. If they're not, they will walk all over you.. Please don't misunderstand me - I don't mean punished, I mean they need to learn what is acceptable behavior and what is not and learn NOT to do the unacceptable things.

Indigo Child: Indigos The Evolution of the Gifted Child

When I was young I read books and saw television shows based upon the lives of famous people. Even as a young child, I saw the paradoxes. One person makes a global success out of meager beginnings while another squanders a fortune in reputation as well as money. I wondered why. Is it fate or luck that determines success? Is it predestination or windfall that determines a well-lived life?

Indigo Child: Poetry For and About Indigos - Is My Child an Indigo

Is my child an Indigo?

I wonder as he starts to grow.

Will he know where he is from?

Next to him will I look dumb?

Will he be able to talk to spirit?

If he does, will I fear it?

Will he be labeled ADD

And prescribed drugs from an MD?

Would taking them really be prudent?

Would it make him a better student?

After the kids are thoroughly sifted

Will he be identified as gifted?

If he does, will that be wise,

Or will it be the start of his demise

Will it cause his ego to inflate

And the other kids begin to hate?

Will he challenge the teacher's rule?

To other kids will he be cruel?

Or will he be sensitive and kind?

And back at home, will he mind?

Will he tell US what to do?

And if we don't would it cause a coup?

Many will try to correct him,

But I will always love and respect him.

How do I raise this little boy?

Who has already brought me so much joy?

"You are lovely, darling Spirit"

When I say that, can he hear it?

As his eyes shine and glow

I wonder if he's an Indigo.

Indigo Child: A parents view

Debra Hegerle writes about her own child. She says that indigo children can see your hidden agendas even when you can't. "I have a seven-year-old Indigo son. I've been working as a teacher's aide in his classrooms through preschool, kindergarten, and now first grade, and I've observed his interactions with Indigos and non-Indigos of all ages. It's been interesting! In fact, trying to put it all down in writing has been a challenge because the children do so many subtle things."

Indigo Child: from The Ancient Secret of the Flower of Life

The Indigo children, as they are now called by science, were first traced back to the year 1984. This was the year when suddenly a child appeared with very different human traits. As of 1999, science has suggested that approximately 80 to 90 percent of all the children born in the United States are Indigo children. I believe it probably will rise to nearly 100 percent in the future. You and I are obviously being phased out. These children are being born not only in the U.S., but also in many other areas of the world that seem to be connected with the wide use of computers.

Indigo Child: CNN report about Indigo Children

"Beloved Friends,

On 15th of November an eight minute report about Indigo Children was broadcast worldwide on CNN, showing that the subject has at last reached mass consciousness. Articles in USA Today as well as other major newspapers and magazines indicates that our goal of bringing the message of the Children to the world is being achieved. If you would like to view the report online, please go to:

www.cnn.com/video/player/player.html?url=/video/us/2005/11/15/tuchman.indigo.children.affl

This means that when THE INDIGO EVOLUTION documentary is released this January, the world will be ready to finally respond to the messages as well as the needs of the New Children. The success of the World Premier test-screening of the film in Phoenix earlier this week has set the stage for major impact. Thanks to everyone who has supported this movement and the Children themselves. It looks as if all our effort is about to pay off, for the Children and for humanity itself.

Indigo Child: Ana and the Bird - Integration of Spirit

Lightworkers everywhere are feeling confused and disconnected. In these times we are moving rapidly from one vibrational level to the next. The Group says that we humans do not take the steady escalator in our quest to move to higher vibrations. Rather, we can't wait to jump on the express elevator shooting up hundreds of floors in seconds. Then we try to figure out why we can't walk when the doors of the elevator open. To us it feels as if we are temporarily disconnected and have lost our way. Something is happening here that needs to be addressed and the Group wanted me to drop what I was doing and put this out now. They want to talk about integration of Spirit of Planet Earth.

Indigo Child: The Joy & Wonder of the Indigo Child

Karen, was behaving strangely. Her grades were declining rapidly and Karen refused to do her work. There were inconsistencies in her learning behavior. She would learn very rapidly and then shut down; she was restless and unable to focus. After describing her behavior to a counselor, it was suspected that she may have ADD/ADHD and that she needed testing. Karen's mother had reached a point of despair and hopelessness.

Indigo Child: 9/11 - September 11th & the Indigo Child

What does it mean to be Indigo? It means we are here to initiate the changes - mentally, emotionally, physically, and most importantly spiritually - that will stimulate humanity's evolution past this point of polarity, of war and peace, conflict and resolve, happiness and sadness, etc. Indigos are connected, with one another, with you and I, with the Source. They don't have to be told to be compassionate, it is already part of their nature.

Indigo Child: Poetry For and About Indigos - Girl Indigo

Girl Indigo

Shattered glass sparkles

through a broken window

refracting reflections

into backlit hallways

deep, deep inside, flashing

strophic light, then dark.

A figure, a shape moves

into and out of shadow

a child, a woman reverberates

in silhouette.

Broken nail, broken heart

her hair, dyed jet black, fades

in heartbeats and tears.

She is here, she is now

screaming forever.

Dimensionless and expanding

beyond the edge of visible light

she hovers in her own luminescence

untouchable, yet yearning an embrace

Beyond a grasp, colors fail

pastels wither and crimsons bleed

into neutral shades of gray

as she absorbs the sun

into her deepest indigo.

Indigo Child: A New Focus on Society

There will come a time, we are told by Spirit, that a civilization will exist whose primary focus is not the control of its citizens. In that day, we will see a new and exciting profile emerge within our collective consciousness. It will not be the only way that people will choose to live, but it will clearly be an option - a choice many can make if they so desire.

In our society today, there is a huge divergence between being a child and being treated like a child. Our social systems have created generalized markers for the separation of "the men from the boys" that are neither personal nor are they always accurate to the people involved.

Indigo Child: Creating a Spiritual Focus for Your Family interviews with the Padillas

Teresa and Ernie Padilla are the parents of a beautiful girl who is now into her teens. In 1997, they attended what is called a Spiritual Focus Weekend on the campus of the College of Metaphysics in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri. Here they gathered with several other parents and a mentor for the express purpose of coming to deeper awarenesses of themselves as parents. The weekend, combining instruction, discussion, practices, and an Intuitive Report on each child, fueled their aspirations and restructured the way they saw themselves as people and their daughter as a soul.

Indigo Child: The Issue of Control

Many adults today tend to think of children as possessions. The court system certainly doesn't help that situation, either. We reason that, since we have the "moral responsibility" to feed and house these young people, and the legal power to make decisions for them, our children must be beholden to every rule and ordinance we choose to concoct.

As one parent put it: "My house, my rules." However, if the child lives there, is it not his house as well? Just because someone is unable to financially contribute to the maintenance and upkeep of the place, isn't he still a contributing force to that household? Isn't her job, her specialty, simply being the resident child?

Indigo Child: A FAMILY of YOUNG SOULS- The Universals of How People Learn

What must happen first before any learning can take place between a teacher and student, a parent or a child, is for both to give. What is given is something so simple it is often taken for granted. It is attention. The teacher must give attention to the student to be aware of what the student needs.

The teacher connects his or her perception of what the student needs, to information, experience or wisdom that he or she possesses that can fulfil the student's needs. For example, one who would be a teacher would notice a ten-year-old child mixing mud and food together and recognize this play as a desire to learn to cook. Brownies or a cake might be in order. Children want to learn even though they might not always know what it is.

Indigo Child: Hungry all the Time Insatiable Appetites for Learning

When Ki turned seven I knew it was time to organize my thoughts so I could give guidance and a sense of mental structure to his learning. Seven was when the ancient Greeks began to school their boys. Seven was when youth were admitted into monasteries. If it seems like a magical number, it is. The physical world is based upon cycles of seven. For a newly incarned soul, this means the first seven years of life the child is using the body constructed for him or her primarily by the genetics of both parents and the thoughts of the pregnant mother.

Indigo Child: Zachariah on Indigo Children

There are many children being born now, not just the Indigos. There are warrior children being born also who have a red valance about their spirits. These are those I have spoken of before. They are not bad, but are here to destroy the old system in a radical way. It is a possible path for humans to travel. Many who have seen images of the police state in the future have seen these children grown and fulfilling their destiny. The fact that many Indigos are being born shows that there is acceptance and growth of a higher way. Again, watch the media. The influence that comes with this wave of beings coming in to earth can be seen in many films being produced. The Star Wars film, the Phantom Menace showed the potential of the Indigo child. The more you open your heart to the higher possibilities, the more you bring them to pass.

Indigo Child: Poetry For and About Indigos - Freezer Burn

Freezer Burn

She had the clearest blue eyes

Liquid and always wet

I found a sea-bed in her eyes

And enough tears to fill it

She was one with the salt-sea

Her skin smoothed by sand and storm

And she swam within her eyes

And they kept her wet and warm

And the sun never touched her

Pale child of the tide

The water held her warm hand

And she dripped and dropped and dived

The waters held her warm hands

And she splished and splashed and cried

Please let me drown while I can still feel it

She said I want to swim with the cold fish

Please let me drown while I can still feel it

She said I want to fry like the cold fish

I longed to feel what she felt

Yet I could not dive into her eyes

I was tanned and burned and rough

The sun kept me cold and dry

But I needed to know what she knew

So I plunged into her apple-sea

And she pushed me out and said

That she would come to me

Please let me drown while I can still feel it

She said I am going to swim with the cold fish

Please let me drown while I can still feel it

She said I am going to fry like the cold fish

Her eyes had frozen to a crisp

I saw her think then retake her place

She surfaced and drifted ashore

The sun came out and burned her pale face

Her eyes said that she had not felt it

She had frozen long before she fell

And I held her in my cold arms

And I wished that she would melt

And without her rain to wet us

We stood and began to dry

She grabbed ahold of my cold hand

And she tanned and burned and fried

I tightly held her cold hands

And she blistered and cracked and smiled
