| ARTICLES RELATED TO Inner Child | | | | | Inner Child: Soul loss is a spiritual illness Soul loss is a spiritual illness that causes emotional and physical
disease. We all spend a tremendous amount of psychic energy looking for lost
parts of ourselves. We do this unconsciously, and we do this in many ways:
generating dreams and daydreams, experimenting with numerous spiritual paths
and creating relationships that mirror back to us our missing parts, to name
but a few. Many of us today don't feel totally whole, don't feel as if we are
all here. Few of us live as fully as we could.

| | | | Inner Child: Feng Shui and the New Children
How does the ancient science and art of feng shui relate to the New Children? Due to their sensitivities, the New Children have often been likened to canaries being sent into the coal mine. Feng shui can be used to transform the coal mine - to create more harmony and balance in our physical spaces and surroundings. Since our homes and physical surroundings are comprised of endlessly transforming and interconnected energy fields, we must develop a conscious relationship with the vast dynamics contributing to these energy fields. | | | | Inner Child: Body-Mind Integration in the Personal Growth ProcessBody-Mind Integration in the Personal Growth Process
Does the matter mind? I mean, does the mind
matter? That is, what's the matter with the "mind over matter"
attitude, and what's the matter if matter (the body) doesn't mind? Okay, I'll
put the questions a little less pun-like and paradoxical. How often does it
seem that our body is just something for our mind to use to achieve certain
ends? And from the way the body minds at times, do we too often lack confidence
that it's really going to cooperate with our plans? Or, even though we may try
to "listen to our body," does it still surprise us when the massage
therapist finds knots, "rubber bands," and sticky layers of achiness
in areas we thought minded us the most?

| | | | Inner Child: Find the Oneness Beyond Duality
It is very easy to advise others. Only the one who suffers knows the extent of the pain. At the same time there is no difference between one person'spain and another"s, whether that person is rich or poor. No philosophy, sermon or concept will help relieve that suffering immediately. It is useful, however, to remember that at the core of any pain-causing conflict there is duality. We are part of a cycle that contains both pain and pleasure, creating a split between mind and body, delaying the healing process. Duality is all-pervasive; it is present in everything around us. Even that oft-quoted line from Shakespeare reflects this: "To be or not to be".

| | | | | | Inner Child: Soundarya Lahiri And Inner Beauty
Consciousness is beauty and Creation is an expression of consciousness. Beauty is present in all creation. Eastern philosophy believes beauty is the nature of things, while western thought sees it as perception. Perhaps beauty is both subjective and objective. The East emphasises subjectivity; it sees beauty as the nature of existence - as Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram, an objective phenomenon. In the West, where objectivity is emphasised, beauty is seen as a subjective phenomenon. But as the old proverb goes, beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder. Beauty bridges the subject-object divide.

| | | | Inner Child: Introduction to
Tarot The Tarot cards operate on many levels, describing both
internal developments (emotions, thoughts, intuitive feelings) and external
ones (actions and physical events). Think of the complete Tarot as a map where
each card represents a different piece of a jigsaw puzzle. This puzzle
symbolizes the wide variety of possibilities and experiences available to us
all.

| | | | | | Inner Child: Child Development and the Art of Parenting
We are the most complex and wonderful of God's creations. The human nervous system allows us to experience the richness of life. Our perceptions create reality. We become what we think. But the right environment is required to create the right perceptions. Hence bringing up a child is an art. It requires knowledge and forbearance, love and compassion. Merely thinking of it as a responsibility is insufficient.

| | | | Inner Child: Teaching Meditation to Children
Most people are curious about a child's ability to meditate. Many adults can't seem to find the time nor have the patience, so people wonder how could a child sit still long enough to meditate? Remarkably, children love to meditate. Meditation allows children to use their creative imagination without limitation. As a former schoolteacher and certified hypnotherapist, I've been working with children since 1991 and currently teach meditation techniques to children.

| | | | | Inner Child: Inner CertaintyIn the ultimate analysis, the healthiest form of
certainty arises from a sense of being grounded, deeply rooted in the
spiritual, where we have a solid connection with our inner source. With that
connection, we may still be thrown off by accidents, mistakes and mishaps in
life. But like a good compass, when bumped, we always return to true north in
our orientation. The pull of the "north" is strong to us; it is a
shaping force in our lives.

| | | | Inner Child: Indigo and Crystal ChildrenThe terms, "Indigo" and
"Crystal" were given to two generations of children, because they
most accurately describe their aura colors and energy patterns. Indigo Children
have a lot of indigo blue in their auras. This is the color of the "third
eye chakra," which is an energy center inside the head located between the
two eyebrows. This chakra regulates clairvoyance, or the ability to see energy,
visions, and spirits.
Many of the
Indigo Children are clairvoyant The Crystal Children have opalescent auras,
with beautiful multi-colors in pastel hues. This generation also shows a
fascination for crystals and rocks, as you'll read in this book.

| | | | Inner Child: The Child as the Guru of God
As the sighting of the moon is a must in Islam to signal holy occasions, so is the confluence of the full moon, pournami , and the star Pushya in the month of Makara or January. It is a day consecrated to the worship of Subrahmanya - he who is full of bliss and effulgence - the younger son of Shiva. He is more or less appropriated by the Tamils as their own god; temples to Kartikeya dot the state, most of them situated on hilltops, in places like Palani and Tiruttani, in thick forests as in Subrahmanya in Dakshina Kannada and on the seashore as in Tiruchendur.

| | | | Inner Child: The Wisdom of Indigo Children - An Emphatic Restatement of the Value of American Children
Jesse and Mattea are two typical Indigo Children. Jesse, the older of the two, was born in 1987. He was "a ruler on another planet," but an accident caused him to fall into the womb of his mother Renee Weddle and thus he was born on Earth. Jesse prefers the name he was called in his previous life, Thomas, and is frequently in communication with people from that planet where he used to live. He is very sensitive to what other people are feeling, "sometimes to the point where it causes him anxiety" and can read their thoughts. Jesse's younger sister Mattea was born in 1990. Mattea remembers choosing Renee to be her mother so she could teach her "how to be goofy and silly." Mattea, too was probably royalty in a previous life. In this life she speaks with fairies and with gnomes and experiences unusual voices and lights. Jesse and Mattea both are often frustrated by their parents' inability to answer all of their spiritual questions. Sometimes, in fact, it seems that they have the wisdom to be teachers more than their parents do.

| | | | Inner Child: The Silent Soul Bides its Time
Poet Terhune recollects how when he was a child, his mother, returning after an hour from a neighbour's, asked him, "When I left you were playing on the floor and a sugar candy was there on the table. Now you are there, but not the candy." "I ate at it up, Mother," replied the child. "But you already had your share and I had forbidden you to touch what was left" demanded the mother. "You had, Mother, but believe me, I wept while I was eating it," said the boy.
