 | | | Healing Energy Dictionary: Reiki Natural HealingReiki (ray-key) is a Japanese word for
Universal Life Force and a system of natural healing that channels Reiki
through the hands. The traditional Asian medical paradigm views injury,

 | | | Healing Energy Dictionary: Energy - The River Of
LifeAura Clearing and Chakra Clearing
In
a healthy body, each layer of the aura is brightly colored, vibrant, full of
energy, and flowing. When one's energy becomes imbalanced, stagnant, or
blocked, the aura can have the appearance of being discolored, ripped, torn, or
dented. The chakras in a healthy body should also appear clear, vibrant, and
full of energy. They should be round in appearance and rotating in a clockwise
direction. When afflicted, the chakras can appear cracked, deformed, or out of
alignment with each other. If there is an imbalance in one of the layers of the
aura or one of the chakras, it can have a direct effect of the information
processed.

Powerful Magnifiers of Energy - CrystalsCrystals
are tools that augment the flow of energy. They are like magnifying glasses,
enhancing that which lies behind them (our thoughts, feelings, intentions and
desires). This applies not only to desirable energy, however, but to all
energy, both positive and negative. Through conscious use of crystals as tools,
we can enhance anything we undertake. Quartz crystals have electromagnetic
properties, hence their use in a lot of electrical devices. The human energy
field is also electric (electromagnetic), and crystals can similarly enhance
human energies.

Health Dictionary on Jin Shin Jyutsu
Jin Shin Jyutsu (jin shin jitsu): Subject of The Touch of Healing: Energizing Body, Mind, and Spirit with the Art of Jin Shin Jyutsu (Bantam Books, 1997). Jin Shin Jyutsu is a non-massage form of shiatsu developed by Jiro Murai in Japan. It uses only 26 pressure points, termed energy locks. According to its theory, fatigue, tension, or illness can trap energy in these safety energy locks. The design of Jin Shin Jyutsu is to harmonize the flow of energy through the body. Jin Shin Jyutsu involves either: (a) prolonged, gentle, manual pressing of these points; or (b) movements of the practitioner's hands over such areas without contact. The practitioner's hands function like booster cables. Jin shin jyutsu literally means the creator's art through knowing and compassionate man.

 | | | Healing Energy Dictionary: Distant HealingIn my work with in-person and distant healing,
I've noticed a huge distinction between ordinary chi, ki, or prana, and that
which is governed by the soul and kundalini energies. The universe isn't simply
composed of a roiling ocean of prana-there are differing frequencies. From the
relative prana to that prana which exists nearest the absolute, the energy is
more refined on evolved levels of existence.

Health Dictionary on Chinese System of Food Cures
Chinese System of Food Cures: Anthology of dietary prescriptions set forth by Henry C. Lu, Ph.D. The appropriateness of specific foods for particular symptoms, conditions, and diseases is based on three classes of food attributes: flavor, energy, and movement. The system associates flavors - pungent, sweet, sour, bitter, and salty - with different internal organs. Energies - cold, hot, warm, cool, and neutral - determine the ultimate effect of ingesting specific foods. Movement refers to the tendency of different foods to move in different directions in the body: outward, inward, upward, or downward.
