A healer is someone who purports to aid recovery from ill health. Some practitioners of alternative health practices seek to restrict the term to themselves, claiming they work with the natural recuperative self-healing properties of the body, which they term vitalism. Healer: Healer, Heal Thy Self

Many healing practitioners have shared with me their bewilderment over assuming illnesses or conditions from their clients, especially when they truly felt that their intentions were of loving service to another. Why would a healer or anyone become ill through healing others?

The Hindu scriptures present the Sun as the most potent god. There are only five Puranic gods and the Sun is one of them but the images of the remaining four gods Ń Vishnu, Shiva, Ganesh and Durga Ń are also found in Him. In Surya Sahastranam several synonyms of the Sun are actually Vishnus names and at one place He is also called Jyotirlinga, representing Shiva. Mahakal is both the name of Shiva and the Sun.

Healer: Crystal Healing

This article presents a couple of ways crystals can be used to augment energy healing, also known as therapeutic touch or healing touch. In all energy healing work, the healing can be instantaneous if the healer is connected to truth and the recipient is receptive. It's important to remember that the healer is simply a channel for pure positive energy. The patient is the one who is responsible for accepting the healing. As a healer, it's wise to remember that when we spiritually ask for aid in helping another in any way, we immediately summon great help from Spirit.

Healer: Multiple Timelines

Kiara Windrider is a therapist, poet, astrologer, healer, explorer of mystic and shamanic paths and the author of the award-winning book Doorway to Eternity: A Guide to Planetary Ascension.

A new year dawns silent and unannounced in the early morning drizzle. The calendar spells 2002. What will this year bring? It is a year of paradox, the drizzle informs me – the best of times, and the worst of times. It is a year of planetary initiation, of unprecedented events that will change our lives forever. We will shed an old skin, open our sleeping eyes to a new light, and clear away some of the veils that cling so heavily, and yet so comfortably, to our collective soul. It’s a year like never before, and I notice that I enter through its gates with equal measures of trepidation and excitement. My personality carries some trepidation; my soul carries a great excitement. A poem, written long ago, comes to mind: Faint streaks of dawn.
