| ARTICLES RELATED TO God | | | | God: Ultimate Answer to All Your Questions
Science attempts to define the nature of reality. Reality, however, presents itself in a variety of names and forms: Physical, mental and psychological realities; linguistic and mathematical realities, and with the advent of computers and Internet, digital reality. But science is yet to define physical reality conclusively... hence the quest continues.

| | | | | | | God: Beyond belief - Faith Moves Mountains
A student of science once confided to me after some hesitation: "I've no faith in God." "Never mind," I said. "God won't mind!" "He won't, right?" was the young man's unguarded response, not without an air of relief. The student no doubt represented the large number of agnostics whose 'no belief' is a vague proposition. But there are others who are firm in their belief that they do not believe. However, an honest examination would show that what they do not believe in was a particular idea of God. Many take the concept of God they inherited from their family or milieu for granted, without analysing or questioning it and then quarrel with it, accept it or reject it.

| | | | God: Surrender to God With True Prayer
.Prayer can perform miracle. There is no better meditation technique than sincere prayer. "We may love God as a parent, as our child, as our beloved or even our friend". Says Amma, "Contemplate Him as your creator, protector and the final abode to where you will return. Open your heart and pray to Him. He cannot sit silent and unmoved when somebody calls Him like that...Without love for God, no amount of meditation will bear fruit. Rowing a boat against the current is difficult but if there is a sail, it becomes easy. Love for God is like a sail that helps the boat move forward".

| | | | God: The Ideal Way to Get Close to God - Bhakti
Once upon a time, a musk deer went searching for musk. Round and round the forest she went, month after month, quite unaware that the heady fragrance, so desperately sought by her, lay beneath her own belly button. Many times, we humans, too, behave like the musk deer. We search for self-realisation outside, blissfully unaware that it lies within us, all the while untapped. To experience this bliss, however, the seeker has to put in a different sort of effort with regularity and devotion. One way lies through the world of forms, through the path of bhakti, where the seeker concentrates on any of the manifest forms of the Ultimate.

New Age Spirituality
Dictionary on
Queztalcoatl
Queztalcoatl (Aztec - "feathered-serpent") An Aztec god of the air or a sun-god and a benefactor of their race who instructed them in the use of agriculture, metals and the like. According to one account, Quetzalcoatl was driven from the country by a superior god and on reaching the shores of the Mexican Gulf promised his followers that he would return. He then embarked on his magic skiff for the land of Tlapallan. The Great Bird-Serpent is the most powerful figure in Mexican mythology, and it was known and accepted as a god in ancient Mexico and Central America. Accordingly, he dominated the great early American civilizations, from the land of the Incas in South America, to the Pueblo Indians of the our southwestern desert; from Teotihuacan (Mexico City) on the high plateau to Chichen Itza in Yucatan, he is a prevailing motif on ancient monuments. Sometimes with his jaws open, bifid tongue, and articulated spinal column, he is easily recognizable. At others, he seems to have been coded in an almost infinite variety of formalized patterns derived from his famous scales, or feathers. To the ancients, Quetzalcoatl became the force for understanding the universe, as it was known before the introduction of modern religion by the Conquistadors of Spain. The god Quetzalcoatl represented, to the ancient peoples of Central and South America, the very essence of life.

| | | | God: You Are The Father And Son Of God
Knowledge is divided between phenomenology, science of the changeable and ontology, science of the unchangeable. Ontology is the realm of being and phenomenology that of becoming. To explain it to the laity, Christianity uses the word 'Father' for ontology and 'Son' for phenomenology. The Holy Spirit is individualised consciousness that mediates the two.

| | | | God: Imitation of Christ, Peace on Earth - - about Christmas
Christmas symbolises peace and goodwill towards all; that is why ceasefires are inspired by Christmas. It also means that we should ready ourselves to receive the child God, who epitomises the spirit of giving and receiving. For many of us, sadly, the spirit of Christmas is ''hurry''.And yet, eventually, the hour comes when the rushing ends and the race against the calendar mercifully comes to a close. It is only now perhaps that we truly recognise the spirit of Christmas. Christmas itself is eternal, said Burton Hillis.

| | | | God: Let's Build A Temple To Tolerance
In the name of God we ask you, the blood-thirsty actors in the tragedy of India, to have done with it. You have had your day. And have played your hellish part to perfection. The land is littered with too many corpses already. Columns of smoke from fires of hate choke the air. The sun hides its face from this shame. Stars have fled from our sky.

| | | | | God: Encyclopedia II - Allah - Etymology
Allah - Usage.
Although, outside the Arab world, use of the word AllÄh is most often associated with Islam, it is not exclusive to that faith; Arab Christians and various Arabic-speaking Jews (including the Teimanim, several Mizraḥi communities and some Sephardim) also use it to refer to the monotheist deity. Arabic translations of the Bible also employ it, as do Roman Catholics in Malta (who pronounce it as "Alla"), Christians in Indonesia, who say "Allah Bapa" (Allah the Father) and Christians in the Middle ...

| | | | | God: The Divine Music Within UsDivine music, when you experience it,
brings with it intense and lasting bliss. How can one who has heard this divine
melody describe it to one who has not? Anyone who attempts to describe it would
have to use pale analogies. If we think of the most beautiful music we have
ever heard in this world, it still does not compare with the music known as the
Voice of God.
The divine music is playing within us all
the time. We dont hear it because no one has shown us the way to listen to this
inner music.
