It is important to recognize that in the current national and global media landscape it is nearly impossible for average citizens to place their ideas and opinions on television. Many organizations serve as protectors of the right to free speech and the value the specific diversities of their constituents, many also strive to include the under-ser ...

Global Oneness Community: Encyclopedia II - CFS Alert - CFS Alert

The February 1, 1968 unification of the RCN, RCAF and Canadian Army to form the Canadian Armed Forces saw the Alert Wireless Station change its name to Canadian Forces Station Alert (CFS Alert). Its personnel were no longer drawn from the air force or navy, but rather from the Canadian Forces Communication Command. At its peak, CFS Alert had upwards of 215 personnel posted at any one time. The station became a key asset in the global ECHELON network of the US-UK-ANZAC intelligence sharing alliance, with Alert being privy to many secret Soviet communications regarding land-based and sea-based ICBM test launches and ...

The first such satellite was Echo 1, which was put in a 1600 km orbit on August 12, 1960 by the US. Global Oneness Community: Encyclopedia II - Cave diving - International differences

The cave diving community is a global one. Cave diving practice can differ markedly by locality. While most cave divers in the US would balk at the use of any sort of floating polypropylene guideline, 6mm polypropylene line is the norm in UK sumps precisely because it does float - the line is regularly anchored to stones, lead weights, or whatever is needed and the floating keeps it clear of mud and silt. On the continent (Europe), in larger sumps, thinner yet slightly buoyant line is typical. This disagreement illustrates that you ...
