Dictionary - Glasses, Spectacles
Glasses/Spectacles: The significance of this dream depends on whether or not the dreamer normally wears glasses. If he or she does normally wear glasses, this aspect of the dream has little significance. But for someone who does not wear glasses, dreaming of wearing glasses is a sign that things that are confusing now will become clearer very soon - unless it's sunglasses, in which case things may become more obscure. Again, if you're not certain what it is that will become either clearer or more obscure, look to the other symbols in the dream.

 | | | Glasses: Encyclopedia II - Glasses - HistoryGlasses were possibly invented in northern Italy, most likely in the late 1280s. The identity of the original inventor is unknown, although a possible source is the Arabs, who may have had magnifying lenses in the 10th century. In 1676, Franciscus Redi, a professor of medicine at the University of Pisa, wrote that he possessed a 1289 manuscript whose author complains that he would be unable to read or write were it not for the recent invention of glasses, and a record of a sermon given in 1305, in which the speaker, a Dominican monk named Fr ...

Dictionary - Champagne
Champagne A universal symbol for celebration. If you are drinking champagne, clinking glasses and laughing and talking with other people, great good fortune lies ahead. If a champagne glass is spilled, however, or a bottle broken, the celebration is premature and there is still much to be done before you can consider a project completed.

 | | | Glasses: Encyclopedia II - Minimalist music - Brief historyThe word "minimalism" was first used in relation to music in 1968 by Michael Nyman in a review of Cornelius Cardew's piece The Great Digest. Nyman later expanded his definition of minimalism in music in his 1974 book Experimental Music: Cage and Beyond. Tom Johnson, one of the few composers to self-identify as minimalist, also claims to have been first to use the word as new music critic for the Village Voice. He describes "minimalism" (1989, p. 5):
"The idea of minimalism is much larger than most people realize. I ...

 | | | Glasses: Encyclopedia II - Groucho Marx - Groucho's legacyVarious Groucho-like characters have appeared in popular culture, some long after Marx's death, a testament to the character's lasting appeal.
Bugs Bunny befuddles Elmer Fudd memorably in "Wideo Wabbit" (1956) by imitating the mustachioed comedian in a "You Bet Your Life" parody called "You Beat Your Wife". Later he imitates Art Carney and slaps comical glasses on Elmer, admonishing "don't be such a Groucho".
Alan Alda often vamped as Groucho on M*A*S*H and a minor semi-recurring character in the series (played by Loudo ...

Powerful Magnifiers of Energy - CrystalsCrystals
are tools that augment the flow of energy. They are like magnifying glasses,
enhancing that which lies behind them (our thoughts, feelings, intentions and
desires). This applies not only to desirable energy, however, but to all
energy, both positive and negative. Through conscious use of crystals as tools,
we can enhance anything we undertake. Quartz crystals have electromagnetic
properties, hence their use in a lot of electrical devices. The human energy
field is also electric (electromagnetic), and crystals can similarly enhance
human energies.

 | | | Glasses: The Secret of Success - The Law of Attraction
There is in Nature a great Law - the Law of Attraction - by the operations of which all things - from atoms to men - are attracted toward each other in the degree of the common affinity of common use. The reverse of this law - which is merely another manifestation of its power - is what is called Repulsion, which is but the other pole of Attraction, and by the operations of which things tend to repel each other in the degree that they are unlike, opposing, and of no use to each other. The Law of Attraction is Universal, on all the planes of life, from the physical to the spiritual. Its operations are uniform and constant, and we may take the phenomena of one plane and thereby study the phenomena of another plane, for the same rule applies in each case - the same Law is in operation in the same way.

 | | | Glasses: Universal Reach of Heartfelt Prayer
It is so easy to commune with God. That's because God is closer to us than the air we breathe. But we tie ourselves in knots while praying because we are unable to free ourselves from our own 'sophistication'. H A Williams, an Anglican pastor, discovered he had to 'earn' his passage by turning the short and easy path to God into an obstacle race, a puzzle, devising schemes whereby he could make the grade spiritually, when in fact there is no grade.

nutrition is within your reach. Within you is an amazing storehouse of all the
information you have ever encountered about diet. Your body knows better than
any book what nutritional balance it needs. It tries constantly to communicate
that information, it's just not always received and interpreted accurately.

 | | | Glasses: Encyclopedia II - Water - Human uses of waterAll known forms of life depend on water. Water is a vital part of many metabolic processes within the body. Significant quantities of water are used during the digestion of food. (Note however that some bacteria and plant seeds can enter a cryptobiotic state for an indefinite period when dehydrated, and come back to life when returned to a wet environment)
About 72% of the fat free mass of the human body is made of water. To function properly the body requires between one and seven litres of water per day to avoid dehydration, the pre ...

 | | | Glasses: A Mudra For The Chest, Cold and Infection
The Linga mudra is said to make the body more resistant to colds and chest infections. Those who suffer from bad colds, incurable infections, congested chests and are prone to being affected adversely by the mildest changes in the weather, so they are advised to practise the Linga mudra. This mudra generates heat in the body and thus, while it "burns" away accumulated phlegm in the chest, it also makes the body more resilient to the cold. Instructions and benefits for: - Linga mudra
