| ARTICLES RELATED TO Gaia Theory | | | | Gaia Theory: Dream WorksIn the stillness of the night, when not a sound breaks the hushed silence, they timorously creep into your mind. Fragile, flittering forms—often more real than reality—seek you out from the deepest abyss of your soul and open for you a vista of visions—nonsensical, terrifying, fantastic—and sometimes, just sometimes, hauntingly beautiful. You wake up with a lump in your throat that threatens to cascade down your eyes, a lingering nostalgia for something near, yet eternity away. But weren't you closer to believing, even then, that somewhere, all that you saw was real; that, beyond the tangible truth of ticking time, you had lived one moment of timeless infinity? Perhaps that's the secret. The chance to glimpse beyond. Why else should we take a dream, those phantasms of the chaotic unconscious, so seriously? Read more here: » Meaning of Dreams: Dream Works |

| | | | Gaia Theory: The Jaina
Theory of RelativityThe Jaina Theory of Relativity
The same man is regarded simultaneously as son, father,
son-in-law, father-in-law, nephew, uncle, brother, cousin, husband and so on;
yet there is no contradiction owing to an understood relationship which is
termed in Jainism as syadvada . The triple stream of right vision,
knowledge and conduct flows in one channel, the path to liberation, moksha-marga
; it branches into hundreds of fresh streams of different aims and objects,
which as a whole are called 'not-one-end', anekanta , the applied
form of which is syadvada .

New Age
Spirituality Dictionary on Ancient Astronauts
Ancient Astronauts Astronauts from other planets which allegedly visited Earth in spaceships in ancient times. This theory claims to explain Fortean mysteries and the evidence of ancient sophisticated technology, and primitive societies feats of engineering. Ancient astronaut writers say also that Man did not evolve only from earthly beings like Adam and Eve. A misreading of Genesis leads one to believe that a second strain not from this world but from a 'heavenly source', was added to the human gene-pool (Genesis chapter Devotees of this theory like to quote the myths and legends of ancient or primitive peoples in an attempt to justify their case. According to the folklore and mythology of many peoples, the gods gave fire and the skills of agriculture to mankind. However, this fact alone does not mean that the gods of the ancients were extraterrestrial beings, and that our ancestors were so simple minded that they could not have discovered these things by themselves. In 1968 Erich von DŠniken published a book, Chariots of the Gods?, in which he argued the ancient astronauts theory, presenting supposedly 'proof' of his claims. Zecharia Sitchin is a more modern author who claims to translated ancient Sumerian manuscripts which tell the story of Ancient Astronauts.

Health Dictionary on Bioenergetics
bioenergetics 1. (Bioenergetic Analysis, bioenergetic method): Offshoot of Reichian Therapy developed by psychiatrist Alexander Lowen (b. 1910), author of Language of the Body (1958). Its theory posits bioenergy (life energy), and its principle is that all bodily cells record emotional or energetic reactions. Practionars hold that such cellular memories are adaptable to healing and consciousness-raising, and that patients can release them by crying, screaming, and kicking. Practitioners may be called bioenergeticists. 2. Science practiced by former boxing instructor Yefim Shubentsov, called The Russian and The Mad Russian. It is a treatment for phobias, addiction, bulimia, overeating, pain, migraines, and hearing deficiency. According to its theory, such problems are remediable through effects on the patient's force fields.

| | | | Gaia Theory: Two Ways
to Arrive at the TruthSpirituality and Science: Two Ways
to Arrive at the Truth
Some of the greatest scientists have
attributed their sparks of genius to spiritual inspiration. "I assert
that cosmic religious experience is the strongest and the noblest driving force
behind scientific research," said Albert Einstein.
Scientists today are striving to
discover how creation came into being, and how human beings came to be. A
state-of-the-art space telescope has been able to detect some of the earliest
moments of the Big Bang. By picking up signals from several light years away,
we are able to glimpse at the early universe, whose light is only now reaching
us, billions of years later. Will we ever be able to discover the secret of
creation?

Hindu -
Hinduism Dictionary on Evolution of the soul
evolution of the soul: Adhyatma prasara. In Saiva Siddhanta, the soul's evolution is a progressive unfoldment, growth and maturing toward its inherent, divine destiny, which is complete merger with Siva. In its essence, each soul is ever perfect. But as an individual soul body emanated by God Siva, it is like a small seed yet to develop. As an acorn needs to be planted in the dark underground to grow into a mighty oak tree, so must the soul unfold out of the darkness of the malas to full maturity and realization of its innate oneness with God. The soul is not created at the moment of conception of a physical body. Rather, it is created in the Sivaloka. It evolves by taking on denser and denser sheaths-cognitive, instinctive-intellectual and pranic-until finally it takes birth in physical form in the Bhuloka. Then it experiences many lives, maturing through the reincarnation process. Thus, from birth to birth, souls learn and mature. Evolution is the result of experience and the lessons derived from it. There are young souls just beginning to evolve, and old souls nearing the end of their earthly sojourn. In Saiva Siddhanta, evolution is understood as the removal of fetters which comes as a natural unfoldment, realization and expression of one's true, self-effulgent nature. This ripening or dropping away of the soul's bonds (mala) is called malaparipaka. The realization of the soul nature is termed svanubhuti (experience of the Self). Self Realization leads to moksha, liberation from the three malas and the reincarnation cycles. Then evolution continues in the celestial worlds until the soul finally merges fully and indistinguishably into Supreme God Siva, the Primal Soul, Parameshvara. In his Tirumantiram, Rishi Tirumular calls this merger vishvagrasa, "total absorption. The evolution of the soul is not a linear progression, but an intricate, circular, many-faceted mystery. Nor is it at all encompassed in the Darwinian theory of evolution, which explains the origins of the human form as descended from earlier primates. See: Darwin's theory, mala, moksha, reincarnation, samsara, vishvagrasa.

| | | | | Gaia Theory: What is driving the evolution of consciousness described by the Mayan Calendar? - IIHow is the Mayan Long Count to be explained? Why did this ancient people, that were the most mathematically advanced of their day, choose to use a chronology that consisted of thirteen different periods of 144,000 days each, starting on August 11, 3114, BC and ending on December 21, AD 2012? On a more fundamental level three different types of answers have been given to this question, a materialist, a spiritual and what might be called a pseudo-spiritual, answers that are linked to different world views. In the materialist world view the astronomical, physical cycles are seen as primary to the spiritual whereas in the spiritual world view they are seen as secondary. Health Dictionary on Tibetan medicine
Tibetan medicine (Amchi, Emchi): A largely allopathic system that stems from Ayurveda, Bon (see Bon shamanic practices), Chinese medicine, and Unani. Tibetan medicine encompasses acupuncture and moxibustion and heals both the physical and the psychic being. Its theory posits reincarnation, evil spirits, tutelary gods, and three physiological principles (bodily energies): wind, bile (gall), and phlegm. According to Tibetan medical theory, karma strongly influences 101 disorders caused by afflictive emotions (e.g., desire or hatred); another 101 disorders caused by such emotions involve spirits (harmful unseen forces); and it is appropriate to expose certain medical substances to the light of the full moon. The terms Tibetan medicine and Tibetan Buddhist Medicine appear synonymous.

Health Dictionary on Polarity Therapy
Polarity Therapy (Polarity, polarity balancing, Polarity Energy Balancing, Polarity Energy Balancing system, polarity energy healing, polarity healing, polarity system, Polarity techniques, Polarity Wellness): Eclectic natural health care system originated by Austrian-born Randolph Stone, D.C., D.O., N.D. (1890-1982), and based primarily on Ayurvedic principles. It includes basic Polarity counseling, cranial balancing (see CranioSacral Therapy), guided imagery, hydrotherapy, Polarity bodywork, Polarity dream counseling, Polarity evaluation, Polarity nutrition, Polarity reflexology, Polarity Yoga, and spinal balancing. Its principle is that balancing the flow of energy in the body is the foundation of health. According to its theory, the top and right side of the body have a positive charge, and the feet and the left side of the body have a negative charge. Thus, practitioners place their right hand on negatively charged parts of the client's body, and their left hand on positively charged parts. Polarity theory also posits a cleanable cellular memory.

Health Dictionary on Iridology
iridology (eye analysis, iridiagnosis, irido-diagnosis, iris diagnosis): Ostensibly diagnostic system whose principle is that every bodily organ corresponds to a location on the iris (the colored portion of the eye surrounding the pupil). According to iridology theory, the iris serves as a map of the body and gives warning signs of physical, mental, and spiritual problems. Proponents ascribe modern iridology to Hungarian physician Ignatz von Peczely (1826-1911), author of The Discovery in Natural History and Medical Science, a Guide to the Study and Diagnosis from the Eye (1881). , von Peczely discovered the iris-body connection in his childhood, when he broke the leg of an owl and a black stripe spontaneously appeared on the owl's iris. Probably the leading proponent of iridology in the United States is author and nutritionist J. Bernard Jensen, D.C., Ph.D.

| | | | Gaia Theory: Practical VedantaYou must be a practical Vedantin. Mere
theorising and lecturing is only intellectual gymnastics and lingual warfare.
This will not suffice. If Vedanta is not practicable, no theory is of any value.
You must put Vedanta in daily practice, in every action. Vedanta teaches
oneness or unity of Self. You must radiate love to one and all.
From "Easy Steps to
Yoga" by Sri Swami Sivananda.

Health Dictionary on Clean-Me-Out Program
Clean-Me-Out Program (Arise & Shine Cleanse Thyself Program): Neo-Christian variation of self-healing developed principally by Richard Anderson, N.D., N.M.D. Two herbal supplements constitute its backbone: Chomper, whose eleven herbs include cascara sagrada (a laxative) and lobelia (ingestion of which is risky); and Herbal Nutrition, whose ten herbs include alfalfa, comfrey, horsetail (a weak diuretic), and licorice root. (In April 1997 the U.S. Food and Drug Administration warned consumers that use of Chomper could cause serious heart problems.) Besides these and other supplements, the program involves enemas and avoiding intake of meat and dairy products. Its theory posits a life force. In Cleanse & Purify Thyself (1994), Anderson describes a profound Divine experience wherein a female Divine Being filled him with information. He states that purification is a guaranteed entrance into heaven and that people who are willing to purify themselves shall have the help of God's mightiest messengers and, if necessary, legions of angelic beings.

Hippocrates health program (Hippocrates program): Variation of Nature Cure developed by wholistic health educator Dr. Ann Wigmore (1904-1994), author of Be Your Own Doctor, The Healing Power Within, The Hippocrates Diet and Health Program, Hippocrates Live Food Program, Recipes for Longer Life, The Sprouting Book, The Wheatgrass Book, and Why Suffer?. Wigmore founded the Hippocrates Health Institute in 1957. The Hippocrates program encompasses brushing the skin, deep breathing, enemas, food combining, the Hippocrates Diet (see Living Foods Lifestyle), and exercises such as squatting. According to its theory, integration of body/mind/spirit is central to health. In Belief: All There Is (1991), Brian R. Clement, codirector of the Hippocrates Health Institute, in West Palm Beach, Florida, asserted: [B]elief can bring you anything that you desire (p. 41). He further stated that death is a sham (p. 67).

Health Dictionary on Tap tap system
tap, tap system: Part of an nameless system of self-help expounded by Claude M. Bristol and Harold Sherman in TNT: The Power Within You, first published in 1954. The larger system involves positive thinking and its theory posits telepathy. The authors described TNT as a magnetic creative power within people, a combination of a mental image of anything reasonable that one wants plus faith in oneself and in God (the Great Creator). The tap, tap system simply is repeated visualization of whatever one desires.
