Falling or Drowning Definition: You dream of falling through the air, frightened. You may or may not strike the ground before awakening. A variant of this dream are images of drowning or near-drowning. Examples: - I am running when I trip over a stick and fall over a cliff, going down and down and I am about the hit the rocks below.
- I'm swimming when a giant tidal wave washes over me; I can't breathe.

- Ghosts
Ghosts Some believe that the ghosts in their dreams are real representations of the dead. This is an unlikely explanation of this dream. More likely the ghost is representing a part of you that is unclear and that you do not understand. At times, ghosts represent those things that unattainable or fleeting. Demonic type of ghost images may represent your negative tendencies, unpleasant parts of personality or your "shadow." Old superstition based dream interpretations say that dreaming of friendly ghosts is a lucky omen, and that you should be receiving unexpected good luck. On the other hand, if you were very frightened by the ghost in your dream, then others will try to impose their will on you and you must be vigilant in order to stand up to it.

Dictionary - Mouse
Mouse: 1. In British mythology, the mouse is usually portrayed as weak and timid, but blessed with compensatory traits of intelligence, compassion, and resourcefulness. Dreaming of a mouse, therefore, portends a situation in which the dreamer will be able to turn a weakness into a strength, a disadvantage into an advantage - and thus escape any negative consequences. 2. Being frightened by a mouse signifies social embarrassment coming up, and if the dreamer wants to avoid it, he or she can look to other symbols in the dream. 3. Mice scurrying around freely, wreaking havoc in their surroundings, indicate family squabbles ahead. 4. Seeing a mouse being chased by a cat is a warning not to let others interfere in your affairs.

Interpretation - Horses
Horses An astrologist from helenaparis.com analyses an iVillager's real dream serendipity1980 says: Normally my dreams are straightforward and I can understand them but this one is just strange! I am standing behind the fence of a paddock watching horses running about. Two come over to me as I have apples for them. When the first horse bends down to take the apple, its face changes to a human face (not of anyone I know, but in the dream this person seems familiar). As the horse moves away to chew the apple, its features change back into a horse. Then the second horse bends down to take an apple and the exact same thing happens but it's a different face - this person also looks familiar. When I see their faces change, I'm not frightened but think to myself ... why would they do that? I have a warm feeling inside and just smile. I don't say anything, I just stand there watching. I know this sounds very weird but does it signify anything? Thanks for your help. Helena Paris says: Hello, serendipity1980. Thank you for sharing your dream. Our bodies tell us in dreaming what it is we already know in spirit. It is interesting that you are standing behind a fence watching the horses, like you are watching a part of yourself that is somehow disconnected in daily life. Horses are beautiful and majestic creatures associated with freedom and power. They are often linked with our sexual, creative and spiritual energy. You are already familiar with that part of yourself, but you aren't quite sure how to access it, how to get over the fence and let it out! As a symbol, apples have long been associated with deeper wisdom and knowing. An apple contains within it the seeds of new life; it is the perfect container for the growth of that new life, like women are the perfect containers for new life and creative expression. We long to express ourselves, but there are so many ideas which we never bring to fruition, because we don't make time to explore them. The feeling you have when you see the horses may be connected to the sense of fulfilment from realising even the smallest achievement of our goals. We all have an inner calling, a yearning to be a part of a much more creative existence. By ingesting the idea, giving it time to gestate, making time for even the smallest of creative projects, brings a passion and colour to our lives, and becomes a constant source of regeneration. Joseph Campbell said 'We have to give up the life we have planned, in order to have the one that is waiting for us'. What is the life that is planned for you, who has planned it, what is it you would really like to do? By feeding your inner life through meditation, walking in nature, being silent within, you will engage with another kind of energy, that of life itself. Learning to ride this power in existence you will shine, nurture yourself and you will grow, express your deeper knowing and you will move into the life that is waiting for you. Sweet dreams.

 | | | Frightened Dictionary: Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Children and Dreams - Monsters
Monsters : Dream Interpretation Dictionary - Children and Dreams - Monsters
Monsters Children have different kinds of monsters in their dreams, and the action involved varies. When a monster is hiding in the closet or under the bed, or lives under the front porch, this makes the situation doubly scary, because there is nowhere safe or off-limits. When a monster is chasing the child in a dream, or yelling and threatening, we have a clue that the monster may represent not so much a situation as a person in the child's life. What you need to know: When parents yell or exhibit unexpectedly harsh behavior either toward their children or toward others, this sometimes translates into "monster" dreams. A cranky teacher or scary neighbor can also be the human side of the monster. These dreams are not necessarily a signal of abuse or anything horrific, but they do indicate that your child may be experiencing something stressful, usually regarding someone close to her. If the dreams repeat, notice when they occur and see if you can associate them with waking-life activities or people. If you recognize your own temper or meltdowns as fodder for the dream, take time to reassure your child that grown-ups sometimes get upset too, but that it does not mean she is at risk, she is in trouble or she needs to be frightened. | | | Frightened Dictionary: 17 Seconds From Your True Desires!
"Just to get your attention we want to give you some physical comparison; 17 seconds of pure thought is equivalent to 2000 hours of action. If you are working a regular 40 hour a week job, that is about what you work in a year. 17 seconds equals 2000 action hours. " Esther said: "Abraham, I believe you, but it sounds proposterous. I cannot fathom that kind of leverage".

 | | | Frightened Dictionary: Moksha - Break Free from Fear of Death
Death perhaps is the only certainty in this world. Yet, the fear of death stalks most people. Literature - western and Indian - regards the fear of death as an intriguing and ubiquitous part of human life. We know we are mortals, yet we are afraid of the inevitable. We know we will die one day; yet we continue to behave as though we believe we are going to live forever. In Shakespeare's Julius Caesar, Caesar is surprised to find that people are frightened of death, which is after all an end that comes when it will. A similar spirit pervades the renowned dialogue between the Yaksha and Yudhishthira in the Mahabharata.

 | | | Frightened Dictionary: Sex Is Not CompulsoryCelibacy: Sex Is Not Compulsory
Most of the sex advice books written
during 1960s underlined the idea that the world could be saved by sex -
without, of course, enduring the messy and inconvenient complications of an
unwanted pregnancy. Many therapists of that era encouraged their neurotic and
mentally disturbed patients to 'find themselves' and become better balanced
individuals through positive experiences of sex. Sometimes, surrogate partners
would be provided for the purpose. We liked to believe then that much mental
illness as well, resulted from long-held repressions, and that these could be
released through sex.

 | | | Frightened Dictionary: The Elephant And The Monk - A Story of Compassion
Once there lived a strong, young elephant named Meruprabh. One day a part of a huge forest caught fire and the fire spread rapidly, fanned by strong winds. The animals were scared. When would the fire stop? Meruprabh along with 700 other elephants cleared one part of the forest of vegetation to prevent the fire from spreading. This clearing became a haven for animals seeking shelter from the fire and they huddled there till the fire went out. Animals who normally hunted each other now sat or stood close in amity. Fear was palpable.

 | | | Frightened Dictionary: All that Exists is Total Awareness
Scriptures by themselves cannot make a person enlightened. They give knowledge, not wisdom. But the Ashtavakra Gita is different. This scripture negates every facet of life, except supreme consciousness. Sage Ashtavakra says to Janaka: "My son, you recite or listen to countless scriptures, but you will not be established within until you can forget everything"(16.1). He stresses the import of knowing one's own self. A person may quote extensively from the Bhagavad Gita or the Upanishads. But only through self-knowledge can he even begin to discover the stainless truth.
