I try to take a little from each to form my own and I do abide by the wiccan 3 fold law/Wiccan Rede (as described in the wiki link). Its not that hard to follow and keeps me on the right track.
I personally do not practice wicca, but I do know a few people who kinda meddle in it. From what I understood it was pretty much based on the rule - do unto others what they do to you. I don't think that this will help you much - but one good way to find out about wicca is to do a google search - there is alot of info in the internet about it. One evening once I get caught up on a few things I will have to do a little more research on the subject - It sounds interesting.
Wicca does have very interesting beliefs. I was watching a documentary on a women who practiced Wicca. The home she bought had a pentagram which she knew was a symbol for practicing Wicca. So, she read up more on Wicca and eventually began to practice it. She performed rituals every night and a few month later she claimed that ghosts and other paranormal figures started attacking her. . .
I don't know if the story is truthful or not, just thought I'd share.
There are many good and not so good sites out there. Some are for those who practice solitary and others who will practice in a coven. Depending on what you are looking for I may be of some help.
