We make it way too hard....
Greetings All,
Just wanted to say....
Sometimes I think we make life and spiritual seeking and searching and awakening way too hard....(myself included)
All it really is.......
is LOVE.......
PURE, UNCONDITIONAL, HEARTFELT, BEAUTIFUL, GIVING, FEELING, CARING, WHITE AND GOLDEN LIGHT, LOVE........
It really is just that easy!!!
That's all I have to say on this for now....
Love, Light and Blessings,
Namaste

Re: We make it way too hard....
If I may Essence, I would like to add my thoughts to your comments on love…
Love is the end of our search and the beginning of awareness. The beginning of awareness brings with it a whole new way of relating to form and the world and everything in it.
However, we need to arrive at that place with right understanding and wisdom or we may out of ignorance start doing things such as blowing up buildings in the name of love.
True love stems from the awareness that all are one and that we are all connected.
We need to “know” this in order to truly love. The Hippies didn’t know this and it is my feeling that was why it failed. They were all about love but didn’t know the very foundation or essence of love. They did however, teach us much and I am grateful for that.
I have found The Buddha's teachings to be helpful in regards to this. He taught that the first step toward enlightenment was what is called “Right View”. In summary “our view of the world forms our thoughts and our actions, right view yields right thoughts and right actions”.
He teaches that “Right view is the beginning and the end of the path”. This simply means to see and to understand things as they really are. It is then that we can love, for it is then that we realize we are love.
It took many years of searching and effort with good intentions to understand this and it was through much pain and suffering and joy and happiness that I came to understand this. It wasn’t that simple and I might suggest it was never intended to be.
So yes I agree with you that it is all about love but that understanding is the end one path and the beginning of another but far from simple to reach.
So in summary, let us all start with the simple fact that it is all love and let us all work toward truly understanding that statement so that we can freely be the love that we are. For it is then that we stop relating as "you" and "I" and start relating to each other and the world as "Love", our very essence!
With love,
James

Re: We make it way too hard....
As usual, Essence, your post resonated with me. You are so right - everything really boils down to love. If you love yourself, you will take care of your body and your soul; if you love others, you will try to do what is right; if you love your world, you will do what you can to sustain and improve it. What many people forget is that love is an action word - true love is never a passive thing.

Yes, I agree, love is all those things. I would just like to add that it can sometimes be painful, too. Perhaps, it is in forgiveness, that pain is not felt. Love of course, amplifies forgiveness...which means, of course, that all we really need is love.
I am no saint and struggle with forgiveness at times. There have been things too big for me to deal with and I have had to surrender my feelings over to god, so that I can return to love.
I think unconditional love, involves a life in process, of which I aspire to.

Re: We make it way too hard....
Howdy Folks........LOL (sorry, some more of that couldn't resist stuff...lol)
Where to begin?
The original post in this thread for me, came about as a direct effect of the 08 08 08 energy shift/alignment we all recently went through.
Without going into a lot of detail, I went along just fine, sort of on a natural high, until the fifth day after the attunement, then it hit. The feeling of spacey-ness associated with major shifts in energy and consciousness. This is not a bad thing…..it is a wonderful thing, at least to me it is, I love this feeling, it just makes it hard to communicate in words. That is where the original post originated from; a place beyond this physical plane.
I want to thank you all for all your comments; it truly amazed me and made my heart soar to know you all understood the language I was communicating through.
Yesterday, when I started to become a bit more grounded, I was driving back home from town and this poem came to me. As soon as I got home I wrote/transcribed it, and I would like to share it with you.
The title in no way means I am speaking solely of myself, (the word essence appears in the title) although I did experience this.
I sincerely hope you all enjoy it as I did. Believe it or not, as I was transcribing it, I was filled with joy and anticipation at the prospect of being able to share it with you all.
Love, Light and Blessings,
Namaste
Essence
I am…
the cool iridescence of Raven’s black wing; yet too
I am the warmth of sun in spring
I am…
the unconscious radiance of the moons soft light,
beckoning the mind into dreaming, faceless flight
In me is found the gentle softness at the edge of billowing clouds
I am the shifting of nature’s memories undulating to and fro
I am breath of shadow linking reality and illusion
I am time as time existed before it began
I am thought
I created yesterday
I am that living in the Now
I am cohesion, binding future into form
I am the emotions created with a newborns first cry
I am the aroma found at the end of a flower’s fragrance,
fashioned as it dies
I am the distance between each drop of rain in a summer storm
I am the blackness of space communicating distinction to light
I sway and flow, in constant movement; yet…
I am stillness swaddled in sound
I am eternal, but exist not
I am transition and change
I am the power gently stirring grasses in the field
I am the influence creating worlds
I am the force snowflakes tenderly ride to earth, and…
I am the glint of sparkling energy shaped as they sing
I am the silence in the roaring of waterfalls
I am the magick rainbow hues surrounding the auras of trees
I am magenta dancing to lilac
I am the sensation of music’s harmony found floating amidst each note
I am that which speaks to the soul, quiets the mind, and protects the heart
I am the potential of the spinning vortex creating physical life
I am all you will ever need or I am nothing at all
I am…the Essence of Love
I AM

Re: We make it way too hard....
Dear Essence,
With all my heart, that is one of the best poems I have ever read. It gave me chills. What can I say but WOW! and Thank you!
"I am the force snowflakes tenderly ride to earth"
That line gets a double WOW from me!

Re: We make it way too hard....
Thank you James.
I really like that line too.
My greatest wish for this poem is that every person who reads it experiences it the same way I did. That is what I hoped to convey.
Thank you for feeling it. You have made my day.......
Love, Light and Blessings,
Namaste
