Some people don't even believe that they existed, let alone have memories. I do believe that they existed but no-in fact I don't really believe in past lives. I think that this is all we get, one chance only.
Years ago, during a trance state, I remember looking at a scene in ancient Egypt where I saw a tall young man working as a slave building what I can only assume was a pyramid and 'knowing' that he was me. I could telepathically hear his thoughts of suffering saying that he didn't have a choice as he continued to push his very heavy load. Many other scenes came to me also but I won't go into them now. I no longer feel the need to go into such a deep state and haven't 'looked' any further, as being in trance takes a lot of energy from me. I have no other conscious memory of past lives.
While talking with a medium a while ago, I told him that I have no intention of coming back here after this encarnation and he very firmly stated that I will be! After reading the story of a near death experience today, maybe I won't be so unaccepting of such a prospect . It seems we have a lot to look forward to . M*

Greetings All,
I was reading over some older posts and ran across this one again. I guess I have believed in reincarnation for so long that not believing in it doesn't really enter my mind much anymore, the thought simply doesn't exist in my reality .....LOL (oops...my bad...lol)
So now my question is....if reincarnation is not a factor in why we are here (as humans) how does all of this work and what are we supposed to get accomplished in one short lifetime? To me, having only one lifetime in this grand game is like going to science class only one time and then believing we are a Quantum Physicist.......lol
I over exaggerate, but you get the gist.....
I simply truly am curious as to how one thinks all of this works without the factor of reincarnation.....or multiple lives.
Love, Light and Blessings,

P.S. Metamorphictrance, I almost forgot. Thank you for sharing the memory of your past life. It was very interesting.
I do not do so well when it comes to memories so it is hard to imagine, though I have always believed in Atlantis. Something in my mind just stuck the first time I heard of it and since then its just kind of been with me.
I am sure that there are some souls who have been on this planet for thousands of years. It must be so exciting to have these memories that slowly surface-but sadly its not something I have had the joy of.
I think Atlantis has intrigued many in the past but it seems like something now most people relate with the movies and shows on TV, not so much the full meaning that others do. So does that mean they still think of it or just in another way and if so, is it the wrong way?
