Just started to awaken...I think!

I'm a very loving, high energy person, but it really destroys me when I don't get it back. This issue must becoming very big as it is now mirrored in my life by so many people whose disapproval really bothers me and to really labour the point, it now feels like my husband is losing interest in me too!
I have experienced the same and learned that sometimes it is best to grow quietly and let others see instead of hear your growth. However, you must always be true to yourself.

How can one grow quietly when the Love inside is so over-flowing and you want to shout it out from your roof-top??? And your sorrows so deep that you want to drown in them? My feelings are driving me wild!!!

Yesterday I tried sharing with a close friend /colleague and he laughed - an odd laugh, uncomfortable. I could not understand the laugh, so I asked and he then put on a poker face and pretended to understand what I was talking about (to humour me?).

I am rather new to this site, walking the blog, but let me also extend a warm welcome to you.

Awakening to the understanding that we are all of Spirit in a physical form has it's own unique set of challenges; some of which you have described in your own experiences.

Blimey! I am so lucky to have attracted so many wonderful posts. Thank you all!

The answer is within the authentic me and she's starting to reappear now particularly since I have started to take long cycle rides in the countryside.

I'm coming to realise that all the obsticles that I thought were there stopping my happiness are created by me... so many of my judgements about how things should manifest, how others might react when I have achieved what I want and so much belief that my happiness is reliant on everyone else...It's all just a big smoke screan and I put it there. There's a wonderful warm wind blowing here and things are beginning to seem clearer.x

I have experienced a total turnaround of my life in the past two to three years due to awakening and I just want to tell you that though it may seem painful at times, it is part of the process. I have found Antony DeMello's books to be extremely powerful in helping with the symptoms you have described so maybe you would like to check them out for yourself.
