Fulfillment

"Fulfillment is found not through attainment but by Letting Go" - Dr. Wayne Dyer

... by letting go of something we want in advance, we actually make it much easier to bring into our lives.

Given the many sources of literature flooding the market these days pertaining to the above statements, how many of us are confused by the different takes on this? I know I am.

I want something and want to "enlist" the Universe's support to get what I want. I am immediately told "don't *WANT* it" or only "the feeling of wanting" will be created, which personally I find utter BS - to me this another way we leave open a possible excuse to kid ourselves when God /The Universe does not answer our wants and needs. "We are producing only more wanting" Want is a verb well understood by all except astonishingly The Universe! :hopmad:
So please use "I desire" - is there a difference? :rollinglaugh:
Then we are told to go through the rigmarole of creative visualisation of what we want .. ops!.. desire, so that The Universe gets quite clear on that. Then some recommend that we "let go" of attachment to the result; others say that we should keep visualising and pretending that it is already in our lifes - live life as if we already have it -

Which is it???

Would love to hear your views on this.

Survey..........

Greetings All,

Let's say I'm doing a survey........LOL

In the average 18 hour waking day, how many of those hours would you say you spend in conscious thought at the level of your/our spiritual existence?

How much of your waking time is your spiritual life in the forefront of your every thought?

Remember, you do not have to post a reply to vote in the poll. And it is not possible for me to see who voted in what way.

Thank you for your participation in this poll.
